Amir Khan vs. prime Shane Mosley

It wouldn't take a prime Mosley to beat that bum. Even the completely over-the-hill Shane that fought Floyd in 2010 would KO Khan.

Mosley excelled against a certain type of opponent, and Khan falls right into that bracket. The Adrian Stone, Antonio Diaz class of opponent, is always a guy that Shane can light up.

PLEASE tell me what current welterweight is beating the 2000 Mosley? I'd LOVE to hear it! If you say Floyd, trust me, you're fooling yourself. The current version of Mayweather would NOT beat prime Shane. Nor would the current version of Manny.

Who does that leave? I'm a Thurman fan, but prime Mosley fucks Thurman up. Fucks up guys like Brook, and Porter as well.

I do think Shane at his best would SODOMIZE pac and make him change his name to Catlyn paquaio

 

STRONGLY disagree. prime mosley would fare slightly better against past-prime mayweather jr, but would still lose. a younger more aggressive version of shane might get KO'd by pac, even the current version. the best welterweight version of floyd wins 10-2, sort of like what happened in their fight in 2010.

 

Saying the CURRENT Pacquiao would beat a prime Mosley is borderline lunacy.

The Mosley of the first DLH fight would utterly destroy this washed up version of Manny.

A ridiculous thread. Mosley KO's Khan similar to how he beat Shannon Taylor...except the knockdown Mosley had of Taylor, Khan never gets up.

I've always believed the 2000 versions of Oscar and Shane BOTH beat the best versions of Floyd and Manny.

I hate Oscar more than any other fighter in history, but it's comical to me that Floyd groupies suggest that Floyd beats any version of Oscar when he dropped 4-5 rounds to the 07 version.

99 DLH would have an EXCELLENT chance of beating Floyd at 147.

Floyd is the historically better and greater fighter, but I dunno if he's as good a WELTERWEIGHT as prime Oscar.

And yes, prime DLH blows away the glass parki in under 3.

Oscar and Shane were very good fighters. Manny & Floyd are ATGs. The best welterweight versions of them > best welterweight versions of Splenda & Fishnets

 

I was engaging in a bit of hyperbole earlier.. prime Oscar probably beats the current versions of Floyd & Manny. Shane as well. But that has more to do with Floyd & Pac being undersized and past their prime vs two very fast, big, talented welterweights. But prime DLH vs '09 Floyd or '09 Pac? Gets owned. Same with Mosley. A one handed fighter who gets tired after 4 rounds is not beating an ATG fighter in their prime. A guy whose boxing IQ as imparted by his trainer consists of "do that Roy Jones move" isn't either. Shane Mosley is basically a black Amir Khan with a chin.
