    Ally McCoist :bears:

Ah reckon, as well as being the higher scorer in the Scoattish top flight, Ally played the part o' a Glaswegian much better than Henrik Larrson widae.

Aiden McGeady taunts Scotland ahead of Euro 2016 showdown.. claiming Republic of Ireland have better players

THE former Celtic star added a note of caution, by conceding that it's time Ireland started playing more like a team in a bid to qualify for the finals in France.

has taunted Scotland ahead of the Euro 2016 showdown by claiming Republic of Ireland have better players.

But the wing wizard still added a note of caution, by conceding that it’s time Ireland started playing more like a team.

Martin O’Neill’s side need to beat Gordon Strachan’s men on June 13 if they are serious about qualifying for the finals in France.

Languishing in fourth in Group D, two points off Scotland and Germany, the campaign could hinge on this clash.

And former Celtic star McGeady said: “I’m looking at our team against Scotland and I’m thinking that we’ve got the better players.

“In certain games we’ve played as a team and in certain games we haven’t – and we couldn’t do it in Scotland.”

McGeady was frustrated that after all the hype surrounding his return to Glasgow last November, he came unstuck in the 1-0 defeat to the Scots as the abuse rained down from the terraces.

    :boohoo:

But he is now absolutely determined to bottle that frustration and unleash a world of pain on the country of his birth at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday week. (Typical, ingratitude)

He said: “It was a game I wasn’t really looking forward to because I knew it would be like that with the crowd.

“The abuse was probably worse for me because James McCarthy was injured. We want to get our own back on them."

McCoist was a quality player, I'll admit that much. To be fair to him, his acting skills were surprisingly good too. The film wasn't great, but wasn't terrible either.

I remember when Scotland got THAT penalty at THAT tournament against THAT team in THAT year of 1996, you know, the year football came HOME and all THAT.........I was begging for McCoist to take it and not McAllister.

But Yuri Geller had cooked the books, and no Scotsman is a match for Gay, Jewish Magic, especially when that MAGIC is hosted by two football hooligans as refined as David "Refined Yid" Baddiel and Frank "Sad WBA Fan" Skinner.

They certainly have the better looking players. The only two whodve made the Ireland team in the first game were Shaun Maloney and Charlie mulgrew.
