DeGale needs to be careful. Bumbrose Bendy is going to be feeding him a load of Black British shit.......DeGale could wind up being the next Errol Christie.

 

Wouldn't that make him at least "borderline world class" himself then? :dunno:

 

He's much better than Christie, c'mon. He's already proven he has a chin which is stronger than the papier mâché jaw which Errol possessed.

 

Nah, Dirrell is a faded borderline world class guy, as in he used to be borderline world class. Now he's worse.

Even today's Frock would beat the crap out of DeGale.

 

Dirrell is still world class and I'd pick him to beat many guys at 168.

 

I don't think he would. He has always been mentally weak and flakey, his main asset was excellent speed and athleticism - which has diminished relatively young. He's barely top 10 in a mediocre division.

 

He's still fast but didn't seem as quick as he used to because Chunky is craftier and harder to catch clean than Froch - and before you start with the whole "waaa he's a scrub waaa" stuff I will just say wait and see my friend, wait and see...

 

Oh we'll see Slicey, we'll see.

My guess is neither DeGale or Dirrell will get any good, significant wins from this point on, forthwith.

any truth to this talk there was a 1 minute 29 second break between rounds 2 and 3 and something similar between rounds 3 and 4?

 

He's clearly quite crafty if you have eyes. He doesn't go in there just swinging so he must be doing something.

 

There did seem a big gap between 2 and 3 at the time, I can't remember the gap between 3 and 4 but Dirrell's corner were taking an age to leave the ring and the referee just kinda, well, waited for them ::

Froch deserves every benefit of every doubt. That stretch he had of fighting tough guys in consecutive fights was ridiculous.

Chunky is too crafty for Froch. That left hook will catch him over and over again, he changes levels when he fights too which is something Froch has always struggled with.

 

Son of Groves has two differents - shit, and when he decides to turn it up, mediocre.

 

That's not what I meant by levels. My point was he changes quickly from head height to a low crouch consistently and that has always troubled Froch, plus he is skilled at switching stances. He'd be an absolute nightmare for Froch.
