Assuming he isn't imprisoned, sure. I won't make any assumptions on that end.

Not at all surprised Cormier won.

Despite it being an excellent result, Johnson still didn't impress me in the Gus fight. He has a lot of power, but that's it - he is otherwise basic, with wide, scrubby punches etc.

"This guy is still cheating, and I'm gonna make him pay for it." ---Weidman at the weigh-in

The guys that should be most upset are Bisping and Rockhold who were recently knocked out by that cheating scumbag.

I can't remember a more noticeable physique change from one fight to the next then was the case with Belfort. Even Overeem didn't look as noticeably reduced as Belfort did last night.

The he most hilarious thing is that Belfort had a TRT exemption because of alleged hypogonadism. Yet now that he is supposed to be off testosterone replacement therapy, his levels are higher than a professional athlete that is 8 years younger than him.

Belfort is the worst kind of PED cheat. I honestly hope Bisping and Rockhold get rematches so they can punish him.

Since you were always a supporter of fighters getting TRT exemptions, I'm curious about your opinion of poor Belfort and his low testosterone problem.

He actually showed some decent takedown defense last night. I know Cormier eventually got him down and broke his will on the ground, but that was because Cormier is a beast with his wrestling. I don't think there's another 205er on the planet that would have stayed with those takedown attempts and been successful.

I knew Cormier was going to use his wrestling, but I didn't expect the fight to be so one sided on their feet and one sided the other way on the ground. Johnson is clearly the better striker. He just didn't have an answer for Cormier's wrestling.

Can anyone else beat Rumble these days? Not counting Jones. Right now it looks like Cormier and Johnson are the clear #1 and #2 guys in the division, like Cain and JDS in the heavyweight division over the last few years.

It sucks for him. New rules are in place. If he doesnt like it, he can retire.

Yeah he's probably better than I give him credit for, he just doesn't look particularly good to me, basic and a bit scrubby.

Similar to Rockhold, size/power seem to be his main assets.

Really? I didn't think Cromier was that impressive. He was getting beaten in the striking department. Cromier just never has impressed me that much.

Yup. After Gatti made a specific effort to correct me about Cormier's name (which was long before the Jones fight i believe) I have been spelling it correctly. Thanks Gatti.

BTW Weidboy is such a sickening, cheesy, all American jock I can't fucking wait till someone slaps the shit out of him.

Only problem is, he can obviously fight, and I don't see any current middleweight beating him. I guess Rockhold and Jacare have somewhat realistic chances, but I would pick Weidboy over both of them.

Having said that, even unroided Belfort was schooling him standing, but obviously got battered on the ground.

And I shall try to do the same now that you have corrected me.

Yeah I'm no Weidman fan either (checks to make sure the name isn't mispelled). My problem with him though is how average he comes off looking. There is just nothing exciting about him or his style.

He doesn't have a flashy style like Anderson, but he's dominated every fighter so far. He's been taking on the best. No one has even given him a close fight. If he beats Rockhold and Jacare, his run will be as impressive as what Jon Jones did at light heavy.

I'm more a fan of strikers and BJJ specialists than wrestlers. Weidman is the kind of wrestler I'd rather have as champ compared to GSP in his later years. Weidman takes guys down and destroys them on the ground. He has a hell of a chin too. Machida hit him with everything in the 4th round, and Weidman took it like it was nothing.

I'd like to see Jones / Weidman or Jones / Velasquez. We don't see superfights between champions anymore. Realistically, Jones is the heavy favorite against anyone at light heavyweight and below. I'd pick him over most of the heavyweights too.

There's no reason in the world why Jones can't beat Cain. Jon's range would be just as difficult for Cain as it is for any LHW. I think Jones has proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that wrestling ain't the ticket to beating him. Cormier didn't have a clue how to close distance and get Jon on his back.

If Cain beats Werdum, there isn't another decent challenger at HW. That division is pathetically weak as the glass-chin, shopworn, Andrei Arlovski sits with the #4 ranking. JDS sits at #3, but does anyone care to see a 4th fight between them?

And for Jones, LHW isn't any deeper. He's already beaten Cormier and Gus. Bader sits at the #3 spot and Jones beat him like he caught him boning his old lady. Johnson seemed like a decent challenger but Cormier dimmed his light significantly.

I'd love the idea of Jones coming back at HW with a title shot against Cain. There are a dozen storylines that would be involved and it would sell without promotion.

Depending on the timing, Jones will probably want to get the light heavyweight title back when he's able to fight. If he beats whoever's champ and then beats the heavyweight champ, he'd be considered the best of all time. Not just the P4P best but the best fighter period in the history of MMA.

It sucks that he keeps fucking up in his personal life. The Johnson fight would have been fun. Jones probably would have won, but it wouldn't have looked anything like the Cormier / Johnson fight.

It's hard to tell when Cain hasn't fought in 2 years. I'd love to see Werdum win so JDS can get another title shot. I don't want to see Cain / JDS again.

most likely it will be arlovski vs. JDS for the Title shot and Miocic vs. Overeem for the #1 contenders spot

I love Arlovski, but JDS is probably his worst possible matchup. That would be brutal and hard to watch even though JDS is my favorite heavyweight.

Yeah it wont be pretty. But Arlovski really is not at a champion level, so he has to get his block knocked off.
