They are, and I picked the Warriors in 6.

The weakest link to the Warriors? It's not even on the court. It will be their ability to pay everyone this off season. It's going to be VERY difficult to keep that team together, or at least, just as good.

they dont look to be in terrible shape actually after checking out the numbers. they still have barnes and ezili for cheap for 2 more seasons after this. green will get over paid but lee is an expiring contract they can probably deal at some point in the off season or mid season. iguodala is over paid for what he contributes, though he earned his keep last night, but he still has value around the league if they need to deal him to make room to pay green and barnes. plus the cap is about to go way up

They have Barnes and Ezili for next year only, they are Restricted Free Agents at the end of next year.

If they can move Lee's contract, which isn't going to be as easy as it used to be, they will be ok next year. Even with Green getting paid.

Every step they take, they have to keep in mind that SUPER MAX that Steph will be eligible for in 2017. He's seriously underpaid right now, but he's going to be able to make it up, big time.

If they are smart in regard to Green, Barnes, and Ezili, they will be a dynasty. I'm interested to see if they give Green the MAX, his will only be around 14 mill.

14 mill is a bit steep for what green brings to the table. honestly i dont know how much other teams would value him to pay more than 10-12 for a guy who is not ever going to be one of your primary 3 scorers. according to hoopshype salary cap page GS can give relatively cheap qualifying offers to barnes and ezili and get them for 2 more seasons before they gotta pony up. it is true that theylll have to extend curry probably after next season at the latest.

14ish per is the most he can make based on his previous salary. I think he should get at about what Faried gets, 10-11 per, but the spotlight, the 1st team all defensive award, is going to get some team to offer him the 14 and I'm wondering if GS matches.

Qualifying offers means the minimum a team can offer that particular player to retain him. GS CAN offer the QO, but it would just piss them both off and they would bolt.

With the QO it means the team still has their rights for that season tho, correct?

With Kyrie playing like he did last night, I gave the Cavs a 50/50 chance to win it all. Now with what happened and him leaving in crutches it will be over for them in 5 games top. Fucking injuries, man.

Knowing Kyrie's HEALTH Could Deteriorate at a Moments Notice, REED Questioned Why the Cavs had hm Guarding Curry...

Yes, Kyrie D'ed Up WELL in Stretches, but the Trickle Down Effect was the Wear and Tear, the Extra STRESS on his Already Injured Body...At LESS than 100%, Kyrie's Value to Cleveland is on OFFENSE...

Now, they Likely WONT Even Have him for That...

Yeah, obviously the biggest difference in these teams is the bench. When a guy like David Lee can't even get off the pine, you're a pretty deep team, I don't care what his shortcomings might be.

I was rooting for Golden State, but I'm disappointed about Kyrie. I wanted to see both teams at as close to full strength as possible.

Klay Thompson's BIGGER, but he's Not as Quick, Doesn't Cut on a Dime, Isn't as Good at Change of Direction, Lateral Movement or Running Defenders Into Screens as Curry Is...

There'd have Been LESS Risk of Injury for Kyrie to Guard Thompson, in REED's Opinion...

FYI, FRACTURED Knee Cap for Kyrie, Out 3-4 Months...

Delladova's gonna have to start flinging his body around again, roll up on some of the Warriors knees. Maybe Bogut can "accidentally" land on him while going up for a missed lob pass.

I think this will still be an interesting series, as long as Lebron doesn't have to shoot 60% every game to keep his team in games.

It's Highly Doubtful Cleveland WINS w/Out Kyrie, but it'll Still Be an Interesting Series, for as Looooooooooong as it Lasts...

The good news is that a fractured kneecap isn't too serious and next season the Cavs could do the final touches on the roster and will have nba finals experience under their belts. The east will still sucks.

No, all they have a right to is to match any offer another team gives the player. If another team offers lets say Barnes a 4 year 40 million dollar deal, the Warriors have the right to match that offer, I believe they have 48 hours. If they do not match the offer sheet, the team gets him.

THe fact that this man walked from the court to the lockeroom with a broken kneecap is crazy. They need cars in the NBA like the NFL

Irving is a legit superstar who has shown toughness all year. Shame he cant play.

I feel bad for Bron. He played his ass off and carried the team and they came so close to getting one at the end. It would have been cooler for them to win at least that game but now that Irving is gone they don't stand a chance and I agree with Neil it'll likely be a sweep.

Can somebody tell me when Bogut turned into Kendrick Perkins? Dude has given the Warriors almost nothing for most of the playoffs. He's been missing point blank shots off the rim, bobbling passes and alley opps, not boxing out most of the time, and making Mozgov look like Tim Duncan by comparison. They should just start Ezili or either Speights, but to be honest it probably won't matter at this point, the Cavs are done without Irving.

Bogut's a harasser. He makes things more difficult for the other team. Obviously he's got a higher past pedigree, but now that he no longer puts up the big numbers he is similar to Kendrick, Thebo and other players, in that it looks like they're not doing shit, numbers don't stand out, but they're usually always on the right end of the plus/minus statistics when they are on the floor, even compared to their supposedly "better" team-mates.

Bogut is the kind of player whose impact could be felt if he wasn't playing. He's the glue that keep it all together. Without him protecting the paint, the Warriors wouldn't be in the finals today.
