Both just looked spectacular a month apart. But let's be honest - Canelo is a lot better than Geale, and Cotto is a lot better than Kirkland.

How does this fight pan out?

I think both fighters lack stamina but Cotto paces himself better due to experience and a better corner. If he was good enough to outbox Mosley and give PBF a good fight, he could outpoint Canelo if he can avoid a war.

Both are cheats, weight cheats. Fuck Cotto
He has no integrity. HE is doing to others what they did to him. He's a cunt. I hope the ginge beats him.

Cotto beats the shit out of him and stops the fat legged Ginger in 9 or 10 rounds.

Cotto's experience and advantage in skill/talent gets it done so long as he avoids a toe to toe war.

I think Cotto could hurt Canelo pretty badly with his shots. I think he wins a competitive but clear UD.

Probably Canelo. This recent Cotto resurgence is a mirage, I think.

It is worse than a mirage.

The one fight where the dude was allowed to weigh what he wanted to weigh, Cotto got beat. Busted up and beat by Trout.

Is it possible roach ' s tutelage could've been the difference? Something is different. For the longest time, it seemed like Cotto could not hurt guys. Then he gets 3 kos in a row. Is it gear?

No, its raw talent and a new found belief in the Virgin Maria and her puta hijo, Jesus, "Manos De Agujeros" Christo.

    In otherwords its a miracle.

Or its gear , selective matchmaking and weight-drained and injured opponents. But I'd prefer if it was a miracle.

Cotto will do anything. He's a cheat himself. He blew Judahs early fire out with low blows that would have gotten anybody called Andrew DQ'd.

I dont' know....Canelo has this retarded aggression at times...so it might be close..I can see Cotto hitting the canvas early.....but at the end he takes the fat ginger to school and takes his lunch money...

    Cotto by KO 7

    Probably Canelo.

Whoever wins will get crushed by GGG, if they have the nuts to step up.

Keep dreaming about Cotto fighting GGG, Cotto will rematch Mayweather Jr for the MW championship after he's done with Canelo.

Canelo wins a pretty one-sided fight. Classic case where one guy gets hated way too much whereas the other gets praised for being a cool guy with a nice style.

This will not be a "one sided fight" for EITHER man. That I can assure you.

Each brings things to the table which is problematic for the other. I really feel as if it's a 50-50 fight. I have to give more consideration into who I feel will win. I'll have an official prediction as the fight draws closer.

BTW - Cotto hardly EVER gets praised for his personality. I know that Canelo doesn't speak English, but he definitely seems more charismatic and likable than Cotto. Cotto is a smug prick.

I've never rooted for Canelo before - but I'm rooting for him against Cotto. Main reason being, as I said, I think Canelo has the BALLS to fight GGG. Cotto won't.

Yeah I agree with the last statement, Cotto wants nothing at all to do with GGG.

Pretty amusing that half of you are picking Canelo. He's an average fighter with crap stamina.

Cotto will thump him, and his fat little ginger legs will quiver every time Cotto lands his left hook.

He doesn't have the balls to fight Gaybox. He's already devised a pathetic excuse - "No disrespect, but I don't see anyone at 160 who is a challenge to me" :atu:

The Mosley fight was years ago, in Cotto's prime, I'm not sure it even applies now. I'm picking Canelo just off of age and less miles on the odometer. To be honest I'm no longer knowledgeable enough to give an intelligent assessment because I hardly even watch the sport anymore and missed both guys last fight.

If Cotto can bring this guy down to 151, hit him in the balls a few times early, then he can win.

Yeah but that is more to do with Canelo being the naturally bigger guy. Cotto has to eat to make 153. Canelo is a natural 154 pounder who can move up to 160, no problem. I dont think it has anything to do with Balls. This guy fought some pretty tough opponents

Cotto couldn't beat Trout. Canelo could. But if Cotto rematches Trout, I bet Trout is told 152 or fuck off.
