Because he fought 7 title fights at 140. The fact that you think it's 14 amuses me, and tells me you don't remember the landscape at 140 at the time.
I may have bias in counting the INT, but so what. To me it was still a title and just as credible as that nonsense WBU shit. That being said, I just dont see how you can not call Cotto dominant simply for not facing Hatton. And you know damn well Cotto would have knocked Hatton's head off
Hatton beats Cotto, cagefights him to a stoppage win... Cotto just too fragile like a precious antique doll
He bruises up and swells easy and just gradually breaks down plus he was badly hurt (dominant) at 140 several times
misread? We mentioned Hatton and Mayweather several times in this thread. We know what belts they had.
Cotto is a much better fighter than Hatton was. He might have some shaky moments (he was drained at 140), but he'd stop Hatton. Hatton wanted no part of him back then
If we're counting INT and WBU, Hatton had a way better, more dominant reign at 140. Obviously we aren't counting INT and WBU though, that would be very dumb.
I think he was only badly hurt one time at 140. Vs. Chop Chop. And was he ever dropped at 140, other than that bush by Torres?
