Silver was full of shit. Lebron was clearly bleeding while on the court and during time outs.

Especially when you see Lebron appearing woozy and blinking there's no reason he shouldn't have to go through the concussion protocol. I bet at some point during the 3rd quarter Mike Breen will announce Lebron went through it during halftime and was cleared.

Those first three games took their toll on Bron. He's looking exhausted.

Two teams are talking about blowing it up big time, Sactown and Portland (sorry Haymaker)

Ricky Rubio will be shopped HARD, Flip Saunders is fascinated with Russell. I don't know if they would trade down or just take him #1, but if they don't get what they want for Rubio, they take one of the big guys.

Love has been telling the media he's staying, that's not what he's telling his agent and friends and that's certainly not what his agent is advising him to do.

That seems to be good news for the Knicks, since the Sixers don't need another center, they will pass on the consensus first two picks and maybe pick Mudiay. Knicks could end up with Towns. It will be interesting to see what Portland does, they will probably keep Lillard and Matthews and trade away Batum. Sacramento is a shitty organization right now. They're a mess and have no direction but I doubt they will blow it up after they got Karl in. If they do, Karl could leave since he hates the rebuilding process and he hates developing young players.

I agree Lillard and Matthews stay, anyone else could be moved. As far as Sacramento goes, management wants to blow it up and Karl is on board from what I hear, not necessarily for a full rebuild, but trading anyone plus whatever picks they have to do a massive overhaul for some young established players I could see happening. It will be interesting to see what they do with Boogie Cousins. He would fetch quite a bit if he's moved.

About the Russell possibly going #1 to the Wolves, he cancelled his visit with the Sixers today.

They're also shopping Rubio according to rumors. Seems that they like their Lavine/Wiggins duo. No mention of moving Pekovic, which gives more fuel to that. They will get some serious shit from everyone if they bypass Okafor/Towns because of the tradition of picking up the biggest men in the draft but Russell is not bad at all and he seems to fit their needs. Rubio is a great passer and that's it. He can't defend stronger opponents, is not an offensive threat by any means.

Cavs would've beaten them if Kyrie were healthy.

probably. it was pretty obvious his health was the determining factor in who would win the finals

I watched the 5th game live. I don't know much about basketball but to me it seems it is a much better roster and team tactics against Lebron who has to win by himself. It seems that the Cavs are spent already and I don't see them pulling this off anymore but damn Lebron has given it a fight. T

oo bad some will again say afterwards that "he lost in the finals again, Jordan never lost, Lebron is not a winner" while in truth Cleveland shouldn't be this far nor should they be able to challenge GS this much. I don't know if any player in the history would have made it this far with the same kind of roster around him

Incredible 4th quarter by Curry. I don't know how he drains those impossible 3's and makes them look so easy. I think the Cavs even it up next game, possibly with a little help from the refs............is Joey Crawford in the house?

Somebody on that team besides Lebron has to step up and start hitting buckets though.

I don't think anybody will say that after THIS series. Everybody knows Jordan had Pippen. Lebron has several good role players right now, but nobody to really take the load off him at any time. This is closer to the time Iverson brought the Sixers to the Finals and lost, and he's still lionized today for it.

Jordan also had rodman, kerr, grant and kukoc. not all of them were part of his six championships, but they certainly helped. LeBron has delly, Thompson and jr smith...

Crawford was brought in to even the balance in favor of the Warriors. Not sure which ref they'll bring to Cleveland though.

Kerr was replaceable. John Paxon, Craig Hodges, Jud Buechler, Steve Kerr, same players.

Crawford is brought in to extend series in as obvious a manner as possible. Doesn't matter which teams it involves.

He could sanctimoniously eject Steph Curry in one game, and Lebron the next. Depending on which team is up.

This won't be popular with a certain segment of folks on this board but as is Lebron is NOT top 5 all-time and even a win in this series does not place him there. He's what...30 or 31? he's got a lot of years ahead to climb that latter.

And please let's drop the Jordan comparisons. That ship has sailed. When these finals are over Lebron will either be 2 and 6 or 3 and 6 in championship series. That puts him in the ballpark of Wilt Chamberlain ( 2 rings in 14 years). And I say ballpark because Chamberlain also won 4 MVP's; however, his career numbers were 30 PPG, 22 RPG and 4.4 APG.

As it stands I can't put Lebron above Wilt.

    Absolutely...

Win, Lose or Draw, Bron's ALREADY Done More than Enough to Get the Nod for Finals MVP, in REED's Opinion...

And again, you reward Jordan for NOT reaching the finals with a weaker team, since it counts AGAINST Lebron. Makes no sense

Like i said below, Lebron is in a position where he is doing shit alone. When Jordan retired, his team still won 55 games the next season. When lebron leaves teams, they dont even make the playoffs.
