10-9 round for Cain. Werdum had his moments.

 

Then strip Cain of the title and call Werdum the champ. Using an imaginary title to call your PPV fights 'title matches' is weak. Interim titles are bullshit.

The interim title thing doesn't mean shit at this point. :) Fabricio Werdum is the undisputed UFC heavyweight champion of the world. :)

 

And still no UFC Heavyweight champ able to succesfully defend their title 3 times in a row.

I thought this might be his best chance, Cain taking him down and Werdum getting the submission. Werdum was going to win the fight standing up if it had gone that way.

 

The UFC Heavyweight title is an impossible title to keep.

 

I was just wondering if this fight is gonna kill Mexico as a market for the UFC.

Cain had absolutely nothing to bother Werdum with.

 

I don't think the Mexican crowd understood it was MMA. They booed every takedown.

 

Werdum hit Cain with so many knees out of the clinch that Rich Franklin felt them.

Inactivity and altitude clearly affected cain. Still, what a performance by werdum. He just may be the best heavy ever

 

I would like to think Junior dos Santos will beat him in a rematch. It's hard to say for sure. Fabricio is the first guy to submit Fedor and the first guy to submit Cain Velasquez.
