I gotta agree with you. Quantum of Solace was terrible and I had to force myself to remain awake while watching Skyfall, which I made the mistake of purchasing the Blu-ray before watching he movie as I was lured by all the glowing reviews...I want my money back. Anyone interested in purchasing an almost new Skyfall Blu-ray?

Most people did. That is why they spent so much money to bring back the director.

Skyfall was the first Bond film to gross $1 billion worldwide. Yup, many people liked it. I am among the minority that was not impressed by it.

I saw it at Imax and when it ended, it got a huge clapping ovation. I have only seen that twice in my life.

To be honest I wasn't sure how I felt about Skyfall. It's one of those films I think I need to sit through again to determine how I really feel about it.

I like Kingsman: The Secret Service as the high camp fun romp it is, but to say it is THE BEST SPY film EVER is a colossal stretch.

All these new Bond films are like prequels. When they will finally get to remake 'Dr. No'? I want to see a REAL Asian actor as the villain this time.

Gee, for someone who claims enjoying a lot the Craig Bond films apparently you have not been paying attention to their details. Let me refresh your memory:

    1. Yes, the Daniel Craig James Bond is a modern reboot of the franchise, but Casino Royale established that Bond had not acquired the '00' license to kill status up until the last frame, as he was a changed man, more hardened by the events he experienced, which also explains why he would treat women the way Connery's Bond did in the earlier films.
    2. Miss Moneypenny, the young Q and the MALE M are introduced in Skyfall, three constant characters very important in the old Bond stories.
    3. The new film FINALLY will INTRODUCE Spectre, the evil organization Bond frequently battles against AND Christoph Waltz will be playing the iconic villain Blofeld, Bond's greatest nemesis. AND Bond here will be driving for the first time the iconic Aston Martin. Craig's Bond doesn't drink martinis 'shaken, not stirred'...yet.

If these things I mentioned happened in another franchise reboot, you will call them prequels.

Except all of that goes out the window when in the first Craig Bond movie, M admitted that all the others bonds/007s have died.

    Baloney.

Previous agents did not interacted with (a) Miss Moneypenny (2) Q (3) male M (4) the global terrorist organization SPECTRE. This is pre-Dr. No stuff. He is the same James Bond, not Winslow Gielgud, deceased 007.

Pierce Bronson interacted with Judy Dench M. And bond always interacted with Miss Moneypenny.

Now. It's confusing of course because we have always thought The James Bond Name was a Code Name used by all the prior 007s. But when Skyfall came out, i felt it kind of ruined that because they went into Bond's background and talked about his parents being bond, etc. But here is something that was interesting in the Trailer. When they showed the picture of Bond, his father and someone else, who's head was blocked off, next to that picture there was a certificate of Guardianship. And we Know bond was an Orphan. I also think that Bardem's Character was M's adopted son. They had a close relationship and you remember M's comments about orphans making the best Recruits. So i think someone in the agency adopted Bond and gave him that code name. I think they may have adopted that other kid in the picture too, which COULD be Waltz, who COULD be blofeld in disguise. But we dont know for sure.

We dont know if he says it's been a long time because they were adopted brothers, or because of history with the 007s, in which he killed his wife or it could be the history is that he was just the ski instructed as the name of the character indicates.

    It's actually all quite confusing.

If 'James Bond' is a codename for a bunch of british secret agents, that has to be the worst secret ever as he introduces himself to everyone as 'Bond, james Bond' and is recognized everywhere by that name.

Well nobody knows it's a code name accept the agency. But again, Dench was with Bronson and Craig and both were James Bond.

All previous actors portrayed the same person, the same as all actors that portrayed Tarzan were portraying the same role. My point is that unlike any previous films, the Craig films are built like contained prequels to the Connery films. I will not be amazed if a future film they remake Dr. No, Goldfinger, etc. And it will not be the first time: Never Say Never Again was a remake of Thunderball and Casino Royale was a loose remake of the Bond spoof of the same title.

It's obvious to me (and everyone else) for a very long time that you lack basic common sense. You know it too and you try to compensate for this by being bold and brash.
