Do u believe that fight was on the up and up?

I watched some of this cuz there was zero other sports on. The fight prior was actually legit where some pitbull guy was kod at the end of a round yet won via ko the next round

It it was absolutely scripted. Even at 51 years old, there is no way in the world Ken Shamrock doesn't finish a rear naked choke he has locked in that deep.

Scott Coker is trying to recapture the BS Kimbo hype. And it's a shame because guys like Will Brooks, Pitbull, Michael Chandler, etc give Bellator some legitimacy. They are world class fighters.

I think the fight was real. Ken Shamrock is 51. He has the skills and experience but no endurance anymore. I don't think anyone cared enough about this fight to fix it.

Pitbull's fight was legit because those were 2 fighters in their prime giving it everything they had. It wasn't a has been vs a never was.

Yeah as I was watching it and saw how Kimbo was throwing NO punches in the beginning and easily taken down and Shamrock had the deepest RNC ever and couldnt finish? Fuck out of here with that bullshit.

You dont need much when you have an RNC that deep. A 10 year old could tap you. And why wasnt kimbo throwing any punches?

Not only that, but Ken would still be plenty strong enough to do the job. It's speed/reflexes etc that are affected the most by age it seems.

It was ridiculous and as a former fan Coker, i am disappointed.

I didn't see any evidence for a fixed fight. I saw a 51 year old formerly great fighter against a 41 year old tough dude with power in his hands and not much else.

In the end, who cares. It was ridiculous that this was the main event over the featherweight title fight. It was ridiculous in 2008 too. I went to that event to see Andrei Arlovsky fight Roy Nelson. Seeing Kimbo get his ass kicked by Seth was just a bonus.

I thought the fight with that Seth guy looked fixed. That was what I was asking about. Didn't even seem like a hard shot that dropped that bum kimbo

Do you know who Seth Petruzelli is? He's a legit badass. Maybe not in the top 20 in the world, but a legit badass. He was more of a local celebrity in Orlando, my hometown.

That fight wasn't fixed. Kimbo was at the peak of his popularity. He would have had no reason at all to that fight.

It was a legit punch. Kimbo was coming in as seth threw it. No way it would be fixed. It pretty much started the downfall of that whole organization.

I understand the organization had no motivation to fix it. I'm just saying the punch didn't look legit. Perhaps gamblers got to ferguson

btw, it was the followup punches while he was on the ground that stopped the fight.

No way it was fixed, the punch looked like nothing, but it clipped him clean, and at pro level, Kimbo has no chin.

And as stated, a Kimbo loss is the last thing they wanted.

The problem with thinking the Kimbo-Petruzilli fight was fixed is that there was no betting line. How would anyone benefit?

I see why people might think Kimbo Shamrock was fixed. I don't think it was. In fighting, shit happens. I agree, the projection that an any-age Shamrock and put a fight-ending guillotine on Kimbo makes sense and is what I would have thought. But, here we are.

Bellator without the tournaments is just AAA league for the UFC. And no, a same night tournament doesn't change that.

Didn't realize that Phil Davis and Josh Koscheck both signed with Bellator.

Josh is shot but Davis can probably bore his way yo a Bellator title.

There are several ex UFC fighters who are still among the best in the world. Phil Davis, Jake Shields, Rousimar Palhares. Palhares is exciting and one of the best and he still managed to get cut from the UFC.

Bellator thinks they can have a successful kickboxing series in the USA? Please. That is a guaranteed failure.

Yes, they have Manhoef, but there is no way for kickboxing to take off here.

Chris Cyborg has signed with Bellator and just beat the champion in that division to take the title during Bellator 238. Although the exchamp was just as strong as Chris when it came to grappling, Chris’s strikes were on another level as she pounded the exchamp into a stoppage victory. I believe Chris made history by becoming a champion in 4 different leagues.

Also on the same card Sergio Petis -younger brother of Anthony Petis- fought and totally dominated a top Bellator guy by beating him to a pulp and ending it with a first round submission. Obvious the competition level between UFC and Bellator is pretty vast as Sergio was going life and death as a contender and comes to Bellator dominating stand up like a male Shevchenco. Same thing with Cyborg. I’m betting ain’t nobody in Bellator going to beat her for years.

Better to rule in Bellator than contend in the UFC I guess.

Another dominating win for Cyborg on Bellator 249. She fought the possible 2nd best female in the division and walked through her in 2 one sided rounds. The strength level is on another level as it looks like these girls are fighting against a male when Chris starts unloading on them. I don’t know what Bellator’s steroid checks are like but I personally think CC is suspect. Either way she definitely belongs back in the UFC and should seriously get bored with this lack of competition.

The Fact Cyborg DOESN'T Seem Interested in Revisiting the KO Loss to Nunes Definitely SUPERCEDES Anything She Accomplishes in Bellator @ This Point...

& To Your Point, it Also Insinuates Bellator's Drug Testing or LACK Thereof is More to Cyborg's Liking...
