I'm biased, but I thought Escandon was blocking most of Cave's shots and landing the harder, cleaner, more damaging shots through a lot of this fight. Teddy went vintage Teddy and started screaming and crying like a bitch about the scoring, but, at worst, it seemed arguable. Also, the dipshit announcers were comparing Cave to Hamed. Junior Witter, without any power, is who Cave resembled, however.
So what happened to Jerren that he is inactive? I see that he only fought 2 times this year and in his last few fights he has fought tomato cans like Roy with 10-37 defeats, Willoughby with 3-21-0, Gomez 17-18-0 and Gonzalez 10-9-0 and only scored 4 KOs in 11 bouts (not bad, but not impressive) while my boy Verdejo fought 7 times this year, is 16-0 with 12 KOs against better foes. Anyway Verdejo is now a lightweight so Jerren vs Verdejo is not happening any time soon, but if it happens Verdejo will be the favorite to win via stoppage.
UPDATE My hometown undefeated Boricua boy Jose 'Sniper' Pedraza defeated Russian Andrey Klimov (whose only sole defeat was against Terence Crawford) to capture the IBF Super Featherweight title on the undercard of Wilder vs Molina. Pedraza is the very first boxing champion from Cidra, P.R. :bears: So one of my two prospects has already won a world title. Next week, on the undercard of Bradley vs Vargas, undefeated wrecking machine Oscar Valdez will face former title challenger Ruben Tamayo which if, as expected, he can defeat, will rank him among the top ten contenders for IBF & WBC featherweight titles. So we might see him next year going a belt bout too! here is Valdez with Bradley Meanwhile, StingerKarl boy, Jerren Cochran, continues MIA since March 2014. Last I heard Karl was placing his photo on Milk cartons. :nana:
Who cares what impresses you? He won a world title. That is enough in my book for a now former promising new face in boxing. You guys went all fellatio slurping on Cochran who eventually didn't lived up to the hype while my prospect pick won freaking championship belt. Right now I have BRAGGING RIGHTS!!! ::
The boxer StingerKarl was hyping on the second page of this thread. The one whom he claimed was going to KO Verdejo. alm:
Esco Combat Media on Instagram: "Top 10 Boxers Under 25 Do You Agree? #boxing #boxingfans #boxingprospects #boxingnews"
I think there might be an opening in media: sit in a room with a disparate bunch of characters smoking dubious stuff and occasionally demand that some guy- let's call him Jamie- produce "clips" of bears in various stages of their daily routines. Then interject with platitudes like "you'd have no chance" or "look at the size of his fucking head" before asking your guest, let's just say he's a giant fat Cuban, about the vagaries of Voodoo or whatever. Just an idea. Probably won't work.
Tito Mercado is going to be a star. Was it Emiliano Vargas that beat up Ryan Garcia's little brother?
