Man United in for Schweinsteiger and Ramos.

I think Van Gaal is gonna fuck United up.

Ramos won't last pissing time in the Premier League...he can't actually defend.

Yeah i heard about the Schweinsteiger one about a week ago and it was basically dismissed until it came up again yesterday. Today it's Ramos.

Way to look to the future.

The sums being talked about in transfers are mental. Liverpool to spend £75m, City bidding 50 for Sterling, Southampton putting £20m bids in for Athletico players. I doubt Celtic will break £3m this summer

Goal.com now reporting Van Gaal is interested in Boateng from Bayern.

If this continues it will be easier to make a list of players they aren't linked with.

Yeah, it's just sick. Some are trying to justify the £50 on Sterling because of supposed quotas for English players making them more valuable.

First time I (sort of) watched one of the matches today, it was on in the background whilst I was playing EXTREME NOUGHTS AND CROSSES. The quality was terrible but the second England goal was pretty good, she probably didn't mean to do it though.

That's a pretty cutting appraisal of womens football...........unintentional goals, playing draughts in the background

Aye, it was good for white noise in the background, nothing more.

Nothing wrong with Connect Four, it's a good little brain exercise, although I hate playing people who know "the formula", it just takes the fun out of it.

EXTREME NOUGHTS AND CROSSES is good shit though. One big board, each square has a little board inside, wherever you put your 'X' or 'O' on the little board determines where the next move will be on the big board. It gets really tactical as you have to think of the bigger game. I imagine there's a formula to that too but nobody has been bothered to try and crack it yet

If it was an English player taking the spot kick they wouldn't need to program the robot to do anything. :stir:

Firmino. He played for Hoffenheim last season. Pretty good player and only 23. He started the match for Brazil after Neymar was booted out of the Copa America just the other day. (and scored) I'm not sure if he's worth the 29 million but Liverpool need an attacker and they could have paid more for worse. Sounds more likely now they'll dump Sterling.

"Welcome to Liverpool" It was posted February 22nd. Either the uploader was being very optimistic or knows a hell of a lot of stuff going on behind the scenes.

He looks like a little handful. Reads the game well, in the right place at the right time and has an eye for goal. He could do very well in the EPL.

Doing some research today on Alf Ramsey, the guy was a fucking genius. All of us here (quite rightly) praise Clough but Ramsey's achievements are even more impressive IMO:

Takes over third division Ipswich, wins the third division title
    Wins the second division title
Wins the English Championship in Ipswich's DEBUT SEASON in the top flight (the greatest achievement in English club football I'd say)
    Takes over England
    Wins the World Cup

    That's just ridiculous
