You don't see it being competitive given Castillo's chin and strength? Castillo was able to take Corrales' punches for 10 rounds in a phonebooth war. On what basis do you see Pacquiao beating him senseless?

The basis that Castillo has the classic Mexican style that Pacquiao feasts on. Castillo is a good, intelligent version of a Mexican pressure fighter, but he still is a classic Mexican style pressure fighter. It's the style Pacquiao does best with, basically. Pacquiao's foot speed, movement, and unpredictable mid range attack makes mince meat of that style.

Much like Floyd completely dominates patient fighters that try to box him or wait for opportunities, Pacquiao demolishes classic pressure fighters.

Name these "classic mexican style pressure fighter" guys you're speaking of?

Obviously not Morales or Marquez who both beat him. Obviously not Barrera who's not a pressure fighter. So who?

Castillo's chin and stamina, combined with his strength and relentlessness make this a competitive classic. I agree that Pacquiao wins, but it's a competitive distance fight.

I can't believe you're asking me this. Surely you've seen most of Pacquiao's fights?

Barrera (yes, he was a classic Mexican style fighter, who occasionally played boxer), Diaz, Hatton, Plasterito, Rios, and his easiest fights pre Barrera were all Vs pressure fighters too.

None of them were remotely competitive, Pacquiao ate them alive, he has the perfect style to do so.

Based on your "Barrera is a classic mexican style also and all fall to Pacquiao" logic JCC would also be beat down and stopped?

Castillo had a better chin than Hatton and better skills and defense than Margarito. You're not fully aware of what Castillo brings to the table in this match up.

It's competitive early on, but by the mid rounds, Pac's hand speed and power take over and it becomes one sided.

I'm well aware of what Castillo brings to the table. I've probably seen more Castillo fights than you, and was aware of him well before he fought Floyd.

He was a good fighter, but he was also slower and more predictable than Hatton for example. It's a one sided fight, Pacquiao would batter him, it would be a proper brutal beating with Castillo taking a fuck load of punishment.

Pac is the superior fighter, but Castillo's size, strength, and chin would make him a live dog in this fight.
