    Kingsman: The Secret Service review

Kingsman: The Secret Service I have to admit that I had no interest in watching this film as its trailer left me cold, and looked predictable. Oh, I was so wrong! This is a highly entertaining, high octane, fun action film that is more a valentine card to goofy spy thrillers from the 60s than the current trend of dark, damn serious Bond films. The film is high camp with cartoonish villains, but never falls into the trap of turning into full blown comedy as it has many serious moments of character's development and even then the director is brave enough to give the audience reminders like-winks as in saying 'don't worry folks, it'll be fun again in a few minutes'. The villain's henchwoman/right hand is one of the most lethal and coolest adversaries seen in any spy film with her amputated legs replaced with sharp blades. Samuel L. Jackson as the nerdy evil genius with a lisp is the only weak part of the film. Yup, this is the movie that should have inspired the Austin Powers films if it only had been made a couple of decades ago. I was entertained and don't mind watching a sequel. 8/10

This is an AWESOME fucking movie. This is like James Bond from the seventies but ten times more spectecular and fun. The style of the movie is a bit similar to kickass. Does this movie have the same director?

I recommend everyone to watch this movie. You will laugh and you will be in awe. This is like a combination of James Bond from the seventies and Kick-Ass.

Everything I've read/seen about this indicates it is really good, looking forward to seeing it. Not sure why it seems like it got zero promotion....

It's a comic book movie, so prepare of over the top, unrealistic craziness. Dont listen to rainmaker and think this is like Bond.

Is it like retarded non-stop action Spiderman type of shit, or is it cool like Unbreakable? As long as its not a stupid action movie I'll watch it.

It's closer to Spider-man than Unbreakable. Nonstop action with "fuck" thrown in every 5 minutes. Lots of CGI shit too
