Is Stallone directing this? I hope not. Looks interesting, formulaic, but interesting.

 

Looks like the original....instead of grimey, broke, rocky...you in with a sissy daddy's boy w/ a chip on his shoulder......

Well I am glad that young promising black director was allowed to direct this film. I haven't watched Fruitvale Station but I heard is good.

 

Will be average crap as per most Stallone movies. I'd rather watch this with Stallone cast as the young up and comer.

 

I just don't hope they don't kill off Rocky. I really liked how they ended Rocky Balboa. I'd probably shed a tear if Rocky died on screen.

 

Very revealing trailer but still compelling.

I watched Fruitvale Station TWICE three weeks ago. Very, very good film, even if you know how all will end, the direction is so compelling it keeps you glued to the screen. Michael B. Jordan is a solid actor and delivers a powerful yet realistic performance of an imperfect likable ordinary man.

Even if this trailer kind of gives away the whole plot, like most trailers today do, I am hyped because of the talent involved in this production.
