Focus:

I enjoyed it. I wouldn't waste a movie fare on it, but as a stream or download there are worse films out there. It's one of those heist type movies were you get to enjoy watching the bad guy make off with the money. Plus I like Will Smith and feel he has the charisma to make certain films better than if some other joe schmoe was playing the lead. 6/10.

 

Real quick is Get Hard good? I'm on a flight with 2.5 hours left so I have to decide quick if it's worth my 6 bucks or if I should stick to the sudoku game.

- 2 separate Will Ferrell ass scenes before opening creds. Not a good sign.

- a few funny jokes but basically no situational comedy, movie sucks so far. Based on first half it's not worth watching.

Get Hard was like a 3/10
it's Will Ferel not wanting to be the same character as always, but ending up 70% there anyway....who is he kidding?

 

Will Ferrell is a buffoon who's rarely funny. Kevin Hart is a buffoon who's rarely funny. So the two of them starring together in a movie - why is it shocking that the movie is shit?

 

I like Will Ferrell. I could just look at him for 90 minutes and that would be funnier to me than 80% of comedies out there. Having said that you can't blame him for this movie sucking. He works with the script he's given. If you give him funny roles,lines,etc you will have a great movie. Give him shit material and you get shit results.
