I'm surprised Marc didn't even tested the FA waters. He's as loyal as they come.

Lakers with a "do over" in getting a second meeting with Aldridge. They told Kobe's ass to stay at home. :giggle:

Still didn't matter, S.A. or HOU.

Isn't signing Jordan a sideways move? He's basically Tyson Chandler.

Spurs lost Belinelli and Splitter. If Aldridge changes his mind, it's gonna be very disappointing. At least the Rockets kept their roster almost intact.

VERY Similar, for Sure, but 'Dre is like 6 Years YOUNGER & a Tad More ATHLETIC than a Prime Tyson Chandler...

Both of their "Offensive" Games are Reduced to Catching Alley Oooops Though and Chandler was a MUCH Better Free Throw Shooter...

Jordan is a better shot blocker, for sure. But Chandler is still a better defensive anchor and one on one defender.

Rondo to Sac-Town, 1 yr 10 mil. Not bad. I'm worried about George Karl though. He's already made enemies with Cousins.

Forfeited 28 MILLION by Leaving the Clippers...Apparently, the Mavericks Promised 'Dre a More PROMINENT Role on Offense....

But the Thing is, he's a DUNKER...He OUT LEAPS Guys Near the Rim...No Back to the Basket Game to Speak Of, Footwork ISN'T Anything to Write Home About...ZERO Shooting Touch...AWFUL from the Charity Stripe...Dre's Acting as if the Clippers HINDERED his Offense, When there's a Pretty Good Chance Playing w/CP3 and Blake Griffin Actually ENHANCED it...

It'll Be VERY Interesting to See How this Plays Out...

It's not even really close. Jordan is better in all aspects. 1 on 1 post defense, Pick n roll defense etc. Better on the glass

He's going to try and fill Chandler's shoes. Let's see how it goes.

I'm happy to say I'm going home to Texas and will be a Spur!! I'm excited to join the team and be close to my family and friends.

Star free-agent forward LaMarcus Aldridge has agreed to sign with the San Antonio Spurs, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

Aldridge, who turns 30 on July 19, has spent all nine seasons of his NBA career with the Portland Trail Blazers, developing into one of the league's best big men. He has been an All-Star each of the past four years and was named to the All-NBA second team last season after averaging a career-best 23.4 points with 10.2 rebounds and one block per game.

Adrian Wojnarowski ‏<s>@</s>WojYahooNBA <small class="time"> 5m5 minutes ago </small> Aldridge will sign a four-year, $80 million maximum contract with San Antonio, league source tells Yahoo.

Spurs are aggressively pursuing free agent David West with a veteran minimum offer now, sources tell Yahoo Sports.
