Robin William's in 'Dead Poets Society' mode...

    'Thank Ye, boys... thank Ye.'

Seems tae me the women's World Cup generated more duscussion than the Copa America. Makes me think there are more fandans in here using the medium as a political/ fashion statement and denigrating fitba than laddies who actually enjoy SEEing a ball kicked aboot.

Well done tae the US Ladies, they widae slaughtered the Sasnachs but it widae been nice tae have seen England in there o'er the foorth o' July weekend, like.

It ain't the 12th yet laddie, hold off yer belligerence till then, invader.

sometimes, a chap needa to take time out from the things he loves to fight the good fight. And so it was with the Copa America. It took a Rosa Parks to the War against Ignorance. Back seat. And today, that war has been won- for now!!!

    Ah yes.........http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-33405094

Victory for the US against Japan in the Women's World Cup final turned into a Twitter row on Monday after some fans began to relate the win to Japan's 1941 attack on the US Navy's Pearl Harbor base.

Drinking an 11% stout here. 6 & 7% is better than 4 or 5% so this ought to be good right? No, of course not, it tastes like fecking whiskey

I went up to her and was like "pffffft a high school boys team would slaughter them!"

I think a nationally high ranked boys team probably beats them to be honest
