Prior to beating Mosley, Forrest was the "avoided man" that Trinidad, De La Hoya, and Quartey didn't want to face. How would this fight have transpired?
Forrest Keeps it COMPETITIVE, but Ultimately LACKS the Athleticism and Defensive Wherewithal to BEAT Trinidad...Tito Late, in a Bout Resembling Tito-Blocker... REED:shadow:
He had such a wonderful jab then why he get beat by a club fighter Mayorga twice and lost to sloppy ass no punching power serigo mora? Vernon god bless the dead was highly overrated.
I think yall are being generous saying Forrest would last til the later rounds. I think Tito blasts him within 5-6. Have always said that.
Yeah I think Trinidad KO 6 sounds right. Tito started slow a lot of times. Forrest would get into a bit of a rhythm, but I think Trinidad is quick enough to catch him with the straight right hand over the jab as the rounds go by, and I don't see Forrest's chin holding up. He might score a flash knockdown like Carr and Campas did early. But I don't see him having the footwork/movement to stay away from Tito for long.
I think Forrest could survive Tito. He was an excellent textbook boxer and had enough power to keep Tito honest. It'll go the distance and be a close decision.
