By foreign I mean anything non-American and non-British. You can also list American/British films that are not mainstream.

I love me some non-mainstream films.

    I'll start

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series, original Swedish versions, naturally. All three films are excellent.
    White Masai
    Cairo Time

Hut I think you'd like a movie called Mondays In The Sun. It's with Javier Bardem, about laid off dock workers in the north of Spain.

This probably doesn't count as 'obscure' but i imagine its one most won't have seen it (or ever considered seeking it out to watch) - Reign over Me with adam sandler and Don Cheadle. Proper 10/10 movie, believe it or not. It'd be in my top 5.

Not an obscure film by any stretch of the imagination, but not many people have watched that delightful French film Amelie which you can watch on Netflix.

It does not feature any dragons or sword fighting, I'm not sure you'll like it D&M.

"Run Lola Run" has always been a favorite of mine. Still watch it when I run across it on cable.

The original foreign version is better than the American version.

    Ip Man was entertaining.

with a nod to Noble who mentioned it in the other thread - do UK films count as foreign for you North American dewds?
