    I was going to respond to the hard to read one, but since you went through the trouble, i will respond to this one. Much Obliged for the consideration tho.

    Yes it's used. When we are specifically talking about the word, itself, i feel actually writing the word can be fine. My issue is when the word is used to attack someone or even accuse someone of attacking a race. For example. Irish could make a post about how African Americans tend to be more likely to commit murder. And Cdogg could make a post similar to "All Niggers are killers" And it's in quotes as if Irish said it. When that happens, i usually just edit the word. It may seem silly, but i just feel like the word was used in that context just to get a reaction. In the the thread about Wiggers, we were specifically talking about the word and more of expressing how we feel the word is portrayed.

    Rainmaker gets a lot of grief about Dogs, but that is due to his love for those dogs. He use to make threads about them regularly. He does get addressed as being from Turkey, but I haven't seen blatant ATTACKS against his race. Now this may be my ignorance here, but if there are instances where he is verbally assaulted with racist comments, I haven't seen them and if I have, i may not associate it with race. That being said, If you see some examples of it, Can you PM me and let me know?

    A crusade against him? How? This is a guy who blamed the deaths of innocent people on themselves. And when people called him on it, he attacked them all. He has said some horrible things about people on this board. Specifically racial things about me on this board. He could have been banned for that alone. There is a crusade against islamic extremist on this board. Loaded always found his way in those threads somehow defending or understanding certain actions.

    True. But as I Said before, i never considered that word racist. I look at it as someone calling a Canadian Indian and Pakistani. It's really that simple for me. I dont consider being called a Pakistani bad, even if people mean it to be. Now this maybe more ingornance on my part and as I have read on here, in Europe it appears that word is pretty bad. With that, i will begin to monitor for it. I never saw it as a rule #2 violation. But again, due to what has been posted here, i will.


    I am not sure Hanz isnt here because of these remarks. He takes breaks regularly and then returns with 100 threads in 5 days. Rainmaker Im not sure. I will PM both of them and know for sure. if there is a problem i I will address it. But i cant do anything, if I dont know what's bothering people.


    The only rule Buddy put in there was that Dictator rule about the Animals. I actually should remove that since he isnt mod anymore. :lol: There can only be on Sheriff. The rest are just deputies. Buddy was more like the Police Commissioner that wanted to walk the beat. But when it comes to the forum, Im trusted with running it. That remark actually did not draw a hot tempered response. I just wanted to make sure it was understand that I did not replace buddy as anything. The remark that draw my "bullshit" remark was the part about being offended by the word spinc and not offended by words like parki.

    I know. And If you did think that, i wouldnt be mad about. Im sure there are people here that dont like my style. You cant please everyone.

    Very true i did and i addressed it above. But let's be clear. I gave Hanz 3 warnings via PM to not say it. He was pushing the limits to see what happened. And Hanzy was put in Timeout before for posting strange shit. that is why he has a specific rule up there.

    I just want to say again, It's just me here. I am cant see everything. I wish people would report things when they see it. Also, we have different views on things. But if enough people come to consensus that something is offensive, than it should be labeled offensive. It's our board, collectively we make the rules. The rules listed are generally agreed on by most. If there are changes that are needed, a thread should be made we should all weigh in on it. I have no problem learning and fixing things to make it more enjoyable for everyone. The rules are constantly tweaked.

    Yeah we have had this discussion before. Never considered the Term Jap or parki a slur.

    Calling someone a shortened version of their place of birth just never struck me as insulting. it's like me being upset someone calls me a Rican.

    Look, Like i said, if enough people around here thinks it's a slur fine. I never felt it was. I just dont see how calling someone an abriviated version of a country is a slur. It actually makes no sense whatsoever. If a Pakistani wants to be offended, okay, whatever. But a Canadian Indian with a British Accent can be offended too?
