  1. Irish

Gerrard = Liability, and he has been replaced by Milner. Is Milner as good as Gerrard was at his best, no. But he's better than Gerrard has been in his last season.

Suarez = A legend who brings out the best in Sterling.

Sterling = a bit of blotting paper that needed the ink of Suarez.

Ings, Sturridge and Firmino is a decent line up.

    Need one more massive striker.

Personally, I don't hear much about the signings, its all whispers in any event. Big Mr In The Know........

Heavily linked with Benteke. Personally Im not sold on him but we need a striker. Lacazette (Lyon) and Barca's Pedro have also been linked

Slice N Dice Big stiff idiot

I don't rate Ings all that highly to be honest, I hope he proves me wrong but I think Liverpool could have done better.

We will, we have too. Ings will replace Borini and Lambert as the 3rd option.

Ings is basically just that. But a fit Ings is better than fit Lambert or an unfit Sturridge.

Not for £4m, and English, they couldn't. He's game, he will be happy to be there, he will try hard, and that's worth a few goals to begin with.

This, he'll score some goals and ruffle a few feathers at the same time. No issue with the signing providing we back it up with another striker

Who is going to take Liverpool's penalties this year? If anything Gerrard was consistent from the spot.

My gut feeling tells me Firmino will be a success at Liverpool.

It would be awesome if Firmino has a big season and Sterling ends up sitting on the bench at Citeh.

I hope so, and the great thing about a great striker is that he brings out massive confidence in the others. It's no coincidence that guys like Skrtel were getting goals when Suarez was going at it.

When Liverpool beat Arsenal 5-1, Suarez did not score.

I'm talking specifically about last season (not his career) and Irish referring to him as a liability.

Thats all I am talking about. Gerrard also missed the last penalty of his career

When it comes to pens he was as good as it gets. Nothing too fancy but he would score 99% of the time. Gerrard was overplayed last season, I suspect BR didn't have the liathroidi to 'manage his games' sooner.

Despite his drop off last year he was still one of our major threats going forward, that in itself tells a story.

Gerrard missed the last penalty he ever took for Liverpool :crafty: :crafty:

Yeah and that's a good asset to have for a team. I wonder if they already have a replacement in mind or the spot kicks are going to be shared.

Isn't Fermino an attacking midfielder? I think he'll be amongst the goals though and will have plenty of assists.

    Nobody springs to mind.

Mario is decent at pens but with any luck he wont be at the club. Sturridge is OK when fit, I'd trust Milner with the job but I'm hoping for new striker to lead the line and take the pens

Apparently Pedro is available. No room for him with the offensive machine Barca currently have. i think he'd be a pretty good signing for a number of clubs.

Claudio Ranieri is the new Leicester boss.

He would be, but if Citeh come in for him he'll find it hard to refuse the wages.

Fucking Citeh do my head in.

Liverpool should make a move quickly. A partnership between Sturridge and Pedro up front might be formidable.

They should sell Ings to City for another 49 million.
