A car chase scene from this film was shot in downtown Toronto, I was there. :up:

Well one is the Hollywood City council tax laws and the other the studios film companies. Both are trying to make a buck. The studios can opt to go where is cheaper for them.

If Will Smith doesn't get nominated Jada will likely raise hell again....

 

Thanks to Will and Jada all of us blacks look like cry babies this year. Personally, I don't give a fuck that there's no black nominees this year, because tbh, there were no black actor/actress performances that really stood out this year.

The kid who played in "Dope" had the best black acting performance of the year. It blows away that pitiful performance Will gave us in concussion.

Third trailer. They added more FFFFFUUUUUNNNN!!! Now looks more interesting, but are they trying to sell it like a Deadpool wannabe? and with that corny 'Rocky Horror Picture Show' song?

It looks stupid as Hell. Lost interest in it the moment I found out Will Smith is in it.

 

I had no interest on it right from the start, but the presence of Will Smith sinks it even lower in my eyes.

 

Yeah I've lost interest too. At one point I was fascinated but not it just looks like league of extraordinary gentlemen.

 

This movie is going to ROCK !!!!!

 

Leto alone will be worth watching it.

My kid, who's an artist and a comic book nerd is super annoyed by this movie to.

She told me it looks like "Hot Topic" went and made a superhero movie.

 

She nailed it! :bears: My exact thoughts when I saw the 'Ha!Ha!Ha!Ha!' tattoos and the Harley Quinn 'Daddy's Lil Monster' shirt.

My niece who´s an uber-comicbook nerd (much to my disdain) is the same: told me she is going to make a tally of a) how many teenies turn up wearing ´edgy´ rockband t-shirts and b) avoiding getting decked by people dressed as The Joker

 

My 14 year old, who is utterly uninterested in superhero movies or comicbooks, wants to watch this film as all her same age friends thinks it will be 'cool'. Me and her oldest sister, 16, who is into comicbooks, have ZERO interest in watching this.

But, who knows?, it might turn out okay...

 

I agree. ´Cool´ for teenagers.

Every time I see the trailer, it irritates the fuck out of me in a try-hard way....still, I guess if its a success, DC deserve some kind of slack. ::
