I still really enjoy watching the premier league. Not as much as I did back in the 90's, but it still appeals to me.

 

The Championship is a good league purely for the fact it hasn't been ruined by money. If you get promoted to the Premiership now, what do you actually have to play for other than surviving relegation? Sure you might strike it lucky and qualify for the Europa League, a competition nobody gives a fuck about, including your club if they qualify for it as it makes more "financial sense" to "focus on the league" rather than give a shit about a competition you spent the whole of last season trying to qualify for. Remember when Norwich nearly won the Premiership in '92? That will NEVER happen again without the help of a Russian or Arabian oligarch. Fuck modern football.

Having alienated all the reasonable representatives and delegations, Mr Keynes has chosen to resign. This is good news for peace in Europe.
