I was really skeptical about this show but it looks vaguely promising and done completely different then the original series. It also had the sense to employ a couple actors in the leads that are superior to the original casting of the first show, which got some great character actors in supporting parts, but pissed the bed with the main leads. Kim Dickens and Cliff Curtis shit all over the Grimes family clan before you even throw in Ruben Blades, who looks like he has a big part to.

Ah, Cliff Curtis, he's great! Didn't he play an Arab terrorist in "Collateral" to.

I don't really go for the idea that the actor HAS to be the nationality he's portraying. Only thing that is important is whether what they put on the screen in believable or entertaining or not.

I agree. I just thought his accent was particular noticeable in Training Day. Since Then, the Mexican Kiwi thing has kind of been a thing between me and Gatti.

I'll always remember him as that piece of shit Uncle Bully, getting his head caved in by Jakey Boy. Didn't figure at the time that he'd be the one who'd break out from that movie.

I kind of figured that Temeura Morrison would have gone on to become a star, and while he's gotten lots of roles since, he's mostly sucked in nearly all of them.

He also played Pablo Escobar in Blow. His performance blew. No pun.

I'm sick of the backwoods. Glad the urban setting is revisited.
