Not a bad card for a Wednesday night. I love the Josh Thompson-Tony Ferguson bout. And Holly Holm should get a decent test in Marion Reneau. Jorgensen-Gamburyan is potentially a "loser leaves" fight.

I get the feeling this will be a brutal knockout loss for Mir. Duffee doesn't have a chin, but Frank isn't what he used to be.

Frank will knock him out IMO.

I agree. I think Mir wins but it could be via submission.

Mir has worked diligently to improve his striking so I fear he'll try to box with Duffee. He should use his improved striking to set up a takedown. On the mat, he submits Duffee without delay.

Thomson's corner should think about stopping the fight. He's tough but he's getting destroyed out there.

I had doubts, but Ferguson is for real. He should get a top 5 opponent soon.

Duffee might have been a good fighter if he had a chin.

I feel bad for Josh, he's a good fighter that's never got the recognition he deserves IMO, and is always jobbed on decisions. I can't believe he's now lost 3 in a row since that spectacular KO over Nate Diaz.

Looks like Ferguson is legit though, definitely one of the better guys to come out of the TUF house.

Can't believe I missed it, I love Ferguson he's he's a legit contender, a fight vs Cerrone would be amazing. I'm also a fan of the male model Jouban.

I thought he won both of his previous two fights.

Gattles, yeah I thought he beat Bendo actually, and as per usual Bendo got the decision. Didn't see the Green fight.

How one sided was this fight?

And yeah, I like Jouban too, the model is way better than he looks. He was actually pretty impressive in his previous fight.

Josh has been robbed before. This wasn't a robbery. He was competitive for a little while in the first round. It's surprising only one judge had it 30-26 after the beatdown in the second round. Ferguson was better on their feet, and he was even better when the fight went to the ground. Josh showed a lot of heart just making it to the end of the 3rd.

Duffee has looked like he has decent skills before. This time he looked nervous and sloppy. Mir looked slow and a little less sloppy. Duffee might want to think about getting out of the fight game. He can't take a punch, and it can't be healthy getting knocked out cold like that. I don't see him beating any of the top 10 guys with his chin.

How shitty is the HW division. Here it is 2015 and Mir, Arlovski, Hunt and Barnett are still Top 10 fighters.

    Crazy.

Jon Jones would beat them all. So would the top guys in the division. Werdum, JDS, and Velasquez would beat them all and make it look easy. The heavyweight division just isn't as deep as the others.

Yeah it doesnt really matter because those old guys arent getting past JDS, Werdum, Cain or even Miocic. And lets not forget Overeem.

That is true, I guess it is simply less deep rather than being total pap.

    Still weird though.

This is even worse than the heavyweight situation in boxing because these are the same exact fighters, only older.

Duffee's stand up is so horrible. He just reaches in with these wild off balance haymakers. If he was a professional boxer he wouldn't even crack the top 500 at heavyweight. Yet in the UFC he ko'ed a number of guys with this shitty "boxing" of his. Goes to show you the difference in boxing between the two sports.

Duffee's boxing (in terms of offense) looked a lot better before he got KTFO the first time and kicked out of the UFC. I don't know what happened since then to make him look as bad as he did this week.
