Non-league football is fun, I watched a few Kingstonian matches back in the 90's when they were half-decent.

Wasn't long ago when I went to see AFC Wimbledon play Plymouth in a League 2 match. My friend from work is a Plymouth fan. Great banter in the crowd and the game was entertaining, too.

I think he is a bit overpriced, but he'll have the opportunity to prove himself so you should at least wait and see how he does. I could be wrong but in his last three seasons he has scored 19, 10 and 13 goals.

So he's averaged 14 goals in his last three seasons. Would you be happy if he nets 14 come the end of the season?

The problem with all these signings is that Suarez was so cheap.

You could sign Jesus of Nazareth, Getter of Goals, Mover of Goalposts, turner of Half-Chances into Goals, and people would be like..........."he cost more than Suarez".

What was, or is, Rodgers' thinking behind bringing Ings in?

Ings wanting to play is better than the more talented but totally uninterested Borini.

Ings is a warrior.....he's like Dirk Kuyt or Bellamy. He will get a few goals and his work-rate plays into Rodgers defend-from-the-front and harrying philosophy.

EDIT: If you look at Rodgers, he traditionally plays with at least two strikers, or 3 attacking players.

Ings, Sturridge and Benteke is a handful.

You put the Feremino guy in behind them and maybe Markovic and Coutinho....defenders be defending fail.

Come on, Suarez was a once in a generation find. Name one striker in Europe that would cost 20 million and be a success at LFC. Also, in the last two season the EPL has been flooded with even more cash

Shane Long just a short 12 months ago cost 6 million less than Luis - 6 MILLION LESS

AgBillehd about Ings. The guy will give you 110% each time he plays because he wants to play and he'll chip in with a few goals. Hell, I think Ings and Lambert would be a decent duo up front.

Is Sturridge going to miss the start of the season? That guy has been plagued by injuries of late.

Liverpool's midfield is looking pretty tasty. Coutinho and Fermino will be a real handful. Two class acts. Milner scored earlier, btw.

He's had a "change of heart". Errrrr, no, he'll be getting paid much more, that's why he's leaving. Benteke and Delph leaving in the space of a couple of days. Villa are due relegation, it's just a matter of time.

Villa better hurry up and buy. They've lost a few players from their already shitty team.

Liverpool is a damn joke when it comes to spending. Benteke is barely worth 12 million let alone 32.

Remember when 25 goals a season for a striker was the bare minimum? Collymore, Sir Les, Fowler, Cole, Wright - five strikers who couldn't get a game for England because they didn't score enough.

Peter Beardsley scored 26 goals in 1993/4 and got 1 cap that season. That's how far things have regressed.
