I think there are a number of factors at work. He's gotten older, or old, even. He's bitter about how his youth is gone and the good times are over. We all get there eventually. No biggie. The bitch took his money and his pride. He looks at guys like Floyd and thinks "I was no worse than him, why am I broke and he is not broke yet". He's also taken a lot of headshots and is a Muslim so he was never going to wind up saying nice things.
