    I must be missing something. What did Tate learn from the first Rousey fight to the 2nd Rousey fight?

    She certainly didn't learn to defend the armbar, right?

    And Tate's not beating everyone else. She got stopped by freaking Cat Zingano.

    Hell, sometimes common opponents tell the story. Zingano and McMann couldn't last a collective 90 seconds with Rousey yet they both pushed Tate to her absolute limit.

    Personally I just don't think Meisha is near the athlete Rousey is. The record kind of points to that.

    she fought better, and smarter than the first fight. You cant defend the Armbar against Ronda. The trick is to not get in it. And Tate did better the second time around.

    And she is beating everyone. She is the #1 contender and is getting the next title fight.

    Also, let's not make the ZIngano fight as some one sided beating. That was a back and forth fight in which both fighters were damaged. And knowng tate, I feel it was an early stoppage. tate would have bounced back in that fight like she always does.

    I think being an athlete is great. But it's not everything. I see tate focused on MMA. I see Ronda focused on life after MMA.

    Potentially. But not really when one is looking to improve. IMO she is looking to maintain. And while she is maintaining, the rest of the woman are going to catch up. Look disagree all you want. We will see what happens by the time both girls have retired and we are old geezers looking back.

    Every analyst and expert talks about Ronda's ever improving striking but you say she's just maintaining.

    By the way, no one is saying Ronda will never lose. It just won't be Tate.

    If Ronda is smart, she'll get out of the fight game while she's still on top. Correia, a 3rd fight with Tate, then maybe a superfight with Cyborg? If she wins those 3, she could retire as the unquestioned greatest of all time in women's MMA. Or she could continue to dominate for years. The longer she fights, the more likely it is that other fighters will catch up. No one stays unbeatable forever.

    Yes, focus. Meaning focus on her craft to seek out better striking coaches and better training. unlike Ronda who is not 100% focused on her craft of fighting, but has to balance out many things. She is also stuck to Edmond and thinks he is the greatest thing since Ali.

    Rousey is one of my favorite fighters because she spends every second of every fight trying to finish it. There's no stalling. There's no laying and praying. There's no riding out the clock until the end of the round. It's one goal, all fight long, and that's to end the fight, and that is awesome.

    That being said, no way in hell I pay for this card. With Rousey's fights lucky to go past a minute, you need a strong undercard to get your money's worth, and this undercard is embarrassing.
