Leo is serviceable. I think he was better as a child actor.

    Gosling is pretty cool Imo.

You cant really decline acting. Leo actually has more range now.

Actors can choose to stop trying to deliver good performances. Marlon Brando was on autopilot for the last 20 years of his career; DeNiro was not even trying for many years (luckily he has delivered a few good performances more recently), same with Pacino.

Not trying is different than declining. And Brando was always on pilot. Asshole could never learn a script. too busy fucking bitches.

  5. Marlon Brando....now there's a good actor. His Jor'el DESTROYED Russel Crowe's lame version.

Because DiCaprio's arguably the biggest star in Hollywood, it's just fashionable to hate on him. The man is an excellent actor who's turned in many top-notch performances. Is a he on the level all time as a DeNiro/Hackman/Brando/Pacino? No, but he's still an EXTREMELY talented actor.

You aint convincing these clowns man. Dicaprio's new movie will win him an Oscar

DiCaprio's still also EXTREMELY young in actor years. We might not even see his best performance for another 10-15 years.

Jake Gyllenhaal is fucking awesome. I recently saw prisoners were he and Hugh Jackman were both great. Can't remember him giving a bad performance...

DiCaprio is an excellent actor. Sure he has had some blah performances, but he's had more good ones than average ones. And he's had some great performances.

Gyllenhaal has become one of my favorites, especially after his performance in Nightcrawler.

Tom Hardy has become another one of my favorites too.

Yeah I did. I thought American Sniper was okay and Cooper was solid...I really liked Nightcrawler on the other hand and thought Gyllenhaal was simply brilliant.

Gyllenhaal is a better actor that Bradley Cooper by about 7 light years.

I dont think it's that big of a difference.

Cooper has done some excellent work in Place beyond the Pines, Silver Lining Playbook, American Sniper, American Hustle.

Let's not forget he just recently made it big. Jake has been doing this shit on the big stage for a while.

DiCaprio is an excellent actor, although I agree he hasn't had a defining performance yet which keeps him from being considered a great one.

    I'd go with Clooney.

    Chaning Tatum

Saying Tatum makes no sense, because nobody in their right mind considers him an elite actor. It was only a few years ago when he and Paul Walker were considered the two worse actors in Hollywood.

Tatum is no longer Paul Walker bad though. He's proven that he can be good in a serious movie (Foxcatcher) and he's proven that he can be funny in a comedy (21 Jump Street). He's an OK actor at this point.

Paul Walker was a terrible actor. I wasn't happy that he died or anything, but I wasn't sad.
