    FLASH NEWS!

And these are BAD NEWS for me & lb X lb: 20th Century Fox apparently wanted Channing Tatum so bad that apparently conceded to his demands and the Magic Mike actor has signed the contract to play Gambit, another film I might probably skip.
And they better change the title as last year the Colin Firth/Cameron Diaz movie Gambit bombed badly at the box office and audiences might think they are related.

    ANT-MAN.
    Just seen it...it's great.
I predicted this movie 'might' bomb but fuck me, Marvel are so far and so ahead of DC it's unreal.
Now we have Ant-Man and The Wasp expected in 'Captain America: Civil War'....the way Marvel cross-polinate their characters and movies is really smart.

DC, however, just wait 2-3 years between remakes of Superman & Batman....:dunno:

Olivia Munn practices her sword wielding moves for her Psylocke portrayal in X-Men: Apocalypse while QB boyfriend sucks at it.

He should be the one wielding his sword whilst she sucks on it.

From those images we can see that Captain America team has zero chances here...unless Scarlett Witch, Hulk & Thor joins them. The Vision and Ironman alone can defeat the whole team America with no sweat.

DC has a real chance to catch up here because one of their mandates is to try and be less comical than the Marvel films. If you look at how Superman and the Dark Knight films went their mandate has been no jokes allowed. Green Lantern was pretty much the flop that provided this plan and to be honest I think I prefer my action comics without all the joking fluff because it can become over-saturated like a comedian who can't switch himself off. That IMO is one of the things that ruined Ironman 3.

In other news, Wesley Snipes turned down the lead role that eventually went to ex-Ironman buddy Terrance Howard in the hugely successful Empire tv series. The reason he turned it down? Another Blade film or tv show is supposedly on the horizon. Snipes said he wasn't upset about the missed opportunity saying they got the right guy for the role in Howard. The Blade talk is still just talk and Snipes may not even be in it. Some of the rumors say it may focus on Blade's daughter.

How can DC ever catch up?
It makes 1 movie every three years based on either/and one of two characters? :dunno:

    I agree with what you said though...btw, Iron-Man 2 or Iron-Man 3 ruined?

Marvel will be hard to catch when they have the whole Disney machinery behind them and a REAL and cohesive plan to build and expand their universe.

Marvel was planning out all these interconnected films for years even before the first Ironman was released. DC is jumping on the bandwagon and trying to accomplish in one single movie what Marvel did after six films released.

Perhaps Marvell should make a standalone Thanos movie before Infinity war. A movie that shows how he grows up to be a powerful badguy. Panchy, could you email this to your contacts at Marvel?

More internet buzz on who should play Captain Marvel. One of the most interesting names tossed is Emily Blunt. Not long ago someone asked her about it and she expressed interest. 'Let's call Marvel Kevin Feige right now!" she joked.

But still among Marvelites nerds the #1 dream choice continues to be martial artist turned actress, 37 years old babe, Katheryn Winnick.

Meanwhile Rhonda Rousey wants that role so bad she has been posting fan art on herself as the character on instagram for the last few weeks.

He died and then came back as a girl.

She was first called Ms Marvel, but then they changed that to Captain Marvel as she had the same powers of the cancer deceased hero.

They can catch up by making very good movies. They may be starting out the gate late but that's why they have to catch up. DC's characters suck but if they concentrate on good writing they have a shot, maybe beating Marvel is a long shot but doing just as good or close 2nd isn't so bad. Also I think a very good idea both studios should be doing is actor selection. The mistake both companies seem to be making is hand selecting hot names rather than letting people play for the part. Just think how average The Dark Knight would have been if DC decided to pick Ryan Gosaling or some other hot name of the day to play the Joker back then.

Oh and I said Ironman 3, I meant Ironman 3. I may be alone here but Ironman 3 is easily the worst film of the franchise. I actually like 2 the best with 1 a close second. When it comes to part 3 I just can't sit through the whole film at all. I still don't understand how people think 2 is the worst Ironman after that lump of shit part 3 was released.

I think you got the dates wrong. Look at the issues numbers: the first appearance in the gay ass red & blue costume was on issue #29. I used to read the original Captain Marvel comicbooks in the late 60's, but stopped when they changed not only he uniform, but the whole premise about him.

Well that joke's about run it's course these days. DC has already made plans to make movies on other characters and that doesn't even include Green Lantern and Suicide Squad. So like I said if they do it right they can catch up or at the very least be a respectable runner up.
