Jose Santa Cruz seems to believe that his son is far better than his truly is.

Loma would beat 10 shades of Holy shit outta SC.

Let's all be quiet and assume his dad knows what he's doing and they fight him...

Santa cruz vs Frampton is a more likely fight

That's basically a pick-em. I see those two as roughly on the same level. Good fighters who are several levels below Rigo and Loma.

With managerial and promotional conflicts, fighters often downplay the possibility of certain matchups, knowing they could never materialize. Some fighters and their managers, however, fearlessly call out fighters they know full well they will never fight.

Pretty easy for SC's camp to act all brave when there'should no chance of the fight. Meanwhile, SC hasn'the fought anyone until Mares. And he was far from impressive in my opinion.

Agreed. Granted, he proved me wrong cuz I picked Mares, but I wasn't that impressed.

He'll get picked apart by Loma's son, Russell. Like I keep saying, he's tailor made to make Russell look great.

To be quite frank, I'm not sure I'd even take SC over a guy like Gradovich.

    THIS...

Santa Cruz Deserves CREDIT for the Win, but he was SIGNIFICANTLY Larger than Mares, Had the Fight TAKEN to Him for Large Stretches & NEVER Even Remotely Hurt the Smaller Man, from What REED Saw...The ONLY Reason Santa Cruz Won was SIZE...Take the High Profile Win and Rightfully Celebrate, but Daddy Santa Cruz DOESN'T Need to Beat his Chest, as It WASN'T That Type of Win for his Son...

To Whatever Degree Santa Cruz's POWER was Rated, Prior to Mares, it Has to DIP a Level or So, in Hindsight...

The EASE w/Which Mares' Pint Sized Ass Forced Santa Cruz to Fight Off his Hind Leg was Surprising...That'd Get Santa Cruz MURDERED Against Elite Feathers of Today...Rigondeaux FORCES Santa Cruz Into a Defensive Shell &/Or Stops Him...Lomachenko and Russell DEFINITELY Stop Santa Cruz, Early Doors to Mid...

Santa Cruz's Dad is Merely MILKING his "15 Minutes of Fame"...This is his 1 Chance to ASSume the Position of Robert Guerrero's, Danny Garcia's and Other Boxing Dads, Renown for Shit Talking...Floyd Sr., Jack Mosley, etc...

Russell's speed would totally overwhelm Santa Sloth. The guy has lead feet and is totally ineffective against a non-stationary target. Russell Jr. would run him into that quick right hook all night long, and Russell does have pretty good pop in that right hook.

I wouldn't be surprised if he stopped SC, I really wouldn't.
