Tito would have beaten Shane at any weight. Mosley didn't have the defense, nor the style to beat Tito. I think Tito's power would have turned Shane into "good boy" and Mosley would have coasted to a decision loss.

Canelo will make more than 10 mil. But reports indicate that cotto can make up to 30 mil for this fight.

Being that Cotto took so long to negotiate his end of the deal, I'm quite sure when he signed it was probably for quite the pay day.

The record books indicate he won.

but also, there is timeline of events of this rematch trying to get made and all of DLH's excuses for it not being made eventually turn to bullshit when he ends up moving up after Tito moves up.

Tito: I will give you a rematch but at 154. I cant make 147 anymore.

DLH: Oh that's too heavy. lets make it 151.

Tito: Nah im a 154 Pounder now. I will just fight the champ here.

    DLH: oh thank god

Tito: Boxing world. Im moving up to 160 to challenge the best. So long 154.

DLH: Boxing world. Im moving to 154. I want to fight tito. Tito where you at? Im here!!!

Tito: Uh bitch. Now you are there? Im at 160 now getting ready to challenge the best.

DLH: But im here now. You said you wanted to fight at 154.

Tito: That was two years ago motherfuck. You want to fight. Move up to 160. That's where i am.

DLH: Oh that's too heavy. How about 157? and i get the majority of the purse.

    Tito: Fuck off dildo boy.

Tito: Boxing world Im retiring. Thanks for everything.

DLH: Boxing world im moving to 160!!! Tito where you at?

    Tito: What a fag.

I think Oscar had an opportunity to fight Tito after the Coley fight but he didn't go that route. He and Bob Arum know why.

to compare trinidad- dildo recipient to whitaker - chavez takes away from whitaker's performance.

Yeah, it's preposterous. Whitaker-Chavez was not a close fight in the least bit.

    Oscar blew the Tito fight.

Delahoya was very smart for choosing not to rematch Tito @154. I think it's safe to say he would have been stopped.

Running for 4 rounds as Tito was coming like a tank and avoiding a rematch on more than a few occasions indicate dildo boy wanted no part of a rematch.

Which would you say was more humiliating, Tito winning a controversial decision over p4p DLH or Donald Curry quitting on his stool against lightly regarded Lloyd Honeyghan?

Also, who would you say lost worst, Vargas to Tito or Curry to McCallum?

Maybe he wouldn't have stopped Oscar. But Oscar chose to face Mosley in the summer of 2000 rather than move to 154 lbs and face Trinidad.

Yet when Tito moved to 160, all of a sudden Oscar moves up to 154 for Castillejo.

    Coincidence???....

De La Hoya could make big money fighting me or you. Was he opportunistic in his matchmaking? No doubt.

Castijello happened to have a "world title" in another weight class which is great for marketing. He then was a "multi weight champion" blah blah ...

As far as Trinidad goes try to remember the time as it was. How much interest was there in the public for a rematch for one of the most disappointing "megafights" in the history of the sport?

Even though the fight disappointed, there was incentive for a rematch with a "score to settle," add in the Mexican-Puerto Rican rivalry, I think a rematch would have been well received by the public.
