Who's this number 1 guy? Never heard of him. Must be one of those 85 pound midgets. There should be some kind of a minimum weight requirement before you can make the p4p list, like say you can't weight less than a 10 year old girl...

I think Ward is too high, with the long lay off/inactivity and all.

THe list hasn't look this bad in years.....Have seen little of Roman but he seems good..don't know how good the competition is....Ward is too high for a guy who has one fight in 2-3 years.....Kova a bit high but coud be worse......GGG hasn't fought anyone I guess they are going on potential and HYPE....Rigon should be in the TOP 3 even if he is a boring ugly twat...wald pussy has longevity even if it's against C level competition so #6 is okay....Crawford about right...Pacquiao about right....who the fuck is this Suzuki motherfucker?....Brook really?? REALLY MOTHERFUCKES????

That Roman Gonzalez cat I've heard his name but haven't watched a fight of his yet, but his record seems pretty impressive. I'll have to look at him.

Ward I would have had at number 1 had it not been for his layoff.

    Mine would be..

    1- Rigondeaux
    2- Kovalev
    3- Crawford
    4- Ward
    5- Lomachenko
    6- Golovkin
    7- Wlad
    8- Pac
    9- Matthyssee
    10- Walters

I think Spence and Verdejo will be there soon. Both have the tools to be special fighters IMO.

Canelo and Cotto I considered, and the winner of that fight will be there. I can't put them in just yet because I don't know what Cotto really has left and I need more than the Martinez fight, and Canelo needs more than that close, controversial win over Lara.

Danny Garcia had a lot going for him but his lackluster showings against Herrera and Peterson dropped his stock, while Matthysee knocked out Peterson and beat Provo.

Walters is the bottom tier IMO.

For me, the likes of Brook, Thurman, and Garcia could be there with one big win. But their opponent selection doesn't help them and with a division as stacked with name fighters as 147 is, there needs to be more risk taking.

Wlad should be higher than most on there given his longevity as a unified champion. Why is Pac so low? It's not like he's shot to pieces or has lost to any average fighters.

Pac's stock was not as high even before the Mayweather loss.

He beat Rios and Bradley which keeps him on there, but his hour glass is definitely emptying fast, and I just feel that newer and fresher fighters are about to take his spot.

Danny Garcia has much better claim to #10 than brook .

I had Danny on there but he's lost a lot of momentum. He needs a STATEMENT win like his fight with Matthyssee soon. Crawford in my eyes has over taken him.

How so? Crawford beat a featherweight who never achieved anything before or since at 135.

Crawford has been more consistent and he not only established dominance over the lightweight division, he has now established himself at 140 as the best.

Garcia is meanwhile has started to really look shaky. He needs to have an impressive performance against a top level guy to get back the momentum he had.

I agree he needs another big win but compared to brook or crawford he is more deserving of a spot. Brook on there is absurd.

Agree about Brook. I think he's a good fighter, but the Porter fight is his only win at the elite level. I think the same goes for the other welters too. They need to get in the ring with one another.

You think so? Based on ability perhaps, but a win over dulorme don't say much. Nor does his next foe at 140

I'd have Rigo at number one too. How Lomachenko didn't even make the list is fucking ridiculous. I've no real issues with Pac being low down, he hasn't looked too great for a while now.

Only 5 fights. Already had one loss. Hasn't had a career defining fight as yet.

He has all the potential in the world but it's early. Give him time.

    Agreed.

Wlad should be higher on the list because of dominance, if nothing else. P4P shouldn't be about who has the most pleasing style, it should be more about dominance for your weight.

How can a guy be rated as p4p when he outweighs nearly all of his shitty foes?

I'm too lazy to make a complete top 10, but with Floyd now retired, the top 7 P4P fighters are:

    1. Rigo
    2. Gonzalez
    3. Kov
    4. Ward
    5. GGG
    6. Loma
    7. Crawford

I dunno who I'd pick for the other 3. What I do know is, in terms of QUALITY, I think Spence is top 10, but he has yet to prove it so I'll leave him off for now. He'll be on it soon enough.

    Pac P4P #1?

What's the weather looking like in 2009?

And Cherry Garcia is not in the same UNIVERSE as Ward.

I would put Juan Estrada on before Brook. Not sure if I'd put Crawford on a pfp list based on beating a guy a full division smaller. Ward should be much lower.

I'll put the winner of Canelo-Cotto in the lower part of my top 10.

IF Ward and Kov fight in 2016, whoever wins that will make my #1 spot.

Cherry Garcia does not belong in a top 10 P4P list. He's a limited and lucky fighter.
