I'll take Pavlik but i think Canelo would land some good shots of his own. I don't see it being one sided.
Canelo may have a better chin than we realize. He'll be dwarfed by Pavlik though. I think it's competitive wih Pavlik winning on points.

I never said Canelo had a bad chin, but you talk about him as if he may have Chavez Senior's chin. I think he gets hit too much to take Pavlik's firepower all night. Pavlik also had very good stamina, and we know that's Canelo's weak spot.
I assume he was RELATIVELY sober in 07 when he destroyed Zertuche, Miranda, and Taylor. And if he was drunk then, it wasn't affecting his ring performances.
So it was a loaded question, as there's no such thing as a sober Pavlik. But there is such thing as a prime Pavlik. Hell, I'm not even sure Nelo beats the Pavlik that lost to Martiez. I mean, it's not like Canelo has the movement and handspeed Martinez had.
