Does Hearns finish early what Forrest started in round 2, or would Mosley play nice from the get go knowing what he has in front of him? I think Mosley gets tagged early and is FORCED to fight back which will lead to bad things. I can see Mosley going down early and badly hurt, attempts to stay away but will get nailed with the straight right hand one too many times. Hearns TKO 8
I could see Shane lasting the distance if he played REALLY nice. But I don't think he would. I think he'd try and get stopped. Mosley actually did TRY in the first Forrest fight. Vernon just beat the shit outta him regardless. It was AFTER the first Forrest fight that Shane became a "nicer" fighter.
Interesting fight. Hearns wins...but does he win by KO? Forrest hurt Shane with the right hand so Tommy could do that and more. OK...hearns KO 4
Now that I think about it, 8 rounds might be giving Mosley too much benefit of the doubt, if he actually FIGHTS... Forrest just wasn't the best finisher when he had his man in trouble. Hearns on the other hand...
Lol, I love Shane but the only guy I recall him ever "outboxing" was David Estrada. He usually fought everybody else or just out pointed them but usually if there was any boxing going on in a Shane Mosley fight it was being done by the other guy. Hearns wins this easily if he chooses to box safely from a distance using his reach and jab which Mosley wouldn't know what to do with. The only question is does Hearns win it just as easily by brawling with Shane?
Whether or not Shane "outboxes" Gatti is up for debate. What's not debatable is that Gatti would be a hospital bed for several days after fighting Shane.
