Michigan and Pennsylvania seem to top the list from my initial thoughts.

Which state ranks higher in your opinion and which other states compete or beat them?

I'd normally say 'I'll defer to Clogg on this one' but the FENIAN BASTARD has done a Ronnie Biggs on us :crying:

p4p it's gotta be Detroit or Philli, right?

Michigan, off the top of my head you have Louis, Robinson, Hearns, Toney and Mayweather. That's pretty nuts.

Yeah, can't see another acceptable answer besides Michigan. Robinson, Louis, Hearns, Floyd, and Toney. VERY tough to beat that.

Michigan's CLOSEST competition is PA. From PA you got Hopkins, Holmes, Billy Con, Mel Taylor, Joe Frazier, and Saad.

Missouri is pretty underrated though. Henry Armstrong, Archie Moore, and Michael Spinks. Pretty damn good.

Ohio - by far its best two fighters are Ezzard Charles, and Aaron Pryor.

NY - you got Mike, Jake Lamotta, Bowe, Carmen Basillo, Hector Camacho, and Eddie Mustafa Muhammad.

Shout out to the "DMV" area (D.C., Maryland, Virginia) for producing Leonard (Maryland) and Whitaker (Virginia).

California - I definitely think the three best fighters to ever come outta Cali are Ward, DLH, and Mosley.

    Good calls.

Massachusetts can't be forgotten either: Marciano, Hagler and Sandy Saddler

Florida - Roy is by FARRRR Florida's all time best fighter. Besides Roy, only other possible (borderline) HOF I can think of is Wright.
