It's deceiving because Groves has a glass chin, and Qawi had a granite chin absorbed the power of MUCH bigger punchers than Froch without going off his feet. You musta missed Froch going life and death and buzzed several times by a SHOT Glenn Johnson. Oh BTW, Froch never lands clean enough on Qawi to do real damage. Qawi had an excellent defense.
Read my above post. The closest style to Qawi Froch faced was Glenn Johnson, whom he struggled with. Wanna know what Glenn Johnson did better than Qawi? Not a fuckin thing.
Froch struggles with Johnson? We must have watched a different fight, because I saw Froch win comfortably. Johnson landed some punches, but he certainly didn't 'struggle' or go 'life and death' with Johnson. That's bullshit. Anyway, doesn't make a difference. Qawi wins. MTF
cowardly froch hid out at 168, to shamelessly duck Kovalev. then he retired to avoid an ass whipping from golovkin. he wouldnt have ever went near braxton
Pretty much how Calzaghe went about his career then: killed himself for 10 years to make 168, came up with countless 'sick-notes' to call-off fights (avoided Tarver, avoided Johnson, avoided Gonzalez, avoided Winky, avoided Pavlik, avoided Taylor, avoided fucking everyone it seemed) but finally 'cemented his legacy' and pulled the wool over thick FB'ers by moving up to fight two really old guys who happened to be good themselves 5 years before he started killing himself to make 168.
Agreed, never got the Froch struggle with Johnson storyline. The judge who scored it a draw was criminal imo, it was competitive, but Froch was well in control throughout.
I never said it was a Johnson win, or even a draw. Froch clearly won, but it was a rough fight for him because he couldn't really hurt Johnson at all, and he had some problems due to Johnson's physical strength. Johnson buzzed him pretty good at some point.
You said he went 'life and death' with him. He didn't. He got hit a couple of times but won clear as day. As I say, makes no real difference in this matchup. MTF
