Spinks kicks Hopkins ass at 175. Hop would be hurt/down, and go into survival mode after that. Spinks has literally EVERY advantage over Hopkins at 175. Fight wouldn't be close at all.

 

Spinks makes a mess of Hopkins at 175, the only Q is whether it goes the 15. 50/50

 

Chad Dawson dominated him at 175, yet somehow he manages to push the best lightheavy of the last 35 years to a close fight? Chrissttt Almight he's blinded by Hopkins love.

 

Spinks could become really aggressive late if a guy didn't have the pop to keep him off. At 175, Hopkins does NOT have the pop to keep him off. A stoppage is very possible.

 

I expected all hell to break loose after saying that B-Hop would be competitive with the 80s legend.

Spinks isn't stopping Hopkins and Hopkins isn't much smaller than Spinks. Hopkins is SMART, good defense, great stamina...and has virtually the same height and reach as Spinks. Spinks is the bigger man and is awkward and by virtue of that he wins....but make no mistake NO ONE dominates....

Spinks Ko's Hopkins in the mid-late rounds...the only way this fight goes to a decision is if Hopkins decides like he did w/ Kova to survive and do as little as possible...SPINKS dominating decision 11-1...

 

Lets face it, you aint gonna beat Michael Spinks throwing 30 punches a round. If the late 90s version of Hopkins steps up to 175 he'd maybe make it competitive, but old Popkins of 8-10 years later just gets swamped.

 

Watch out, before Sly says "But... look at the way he dominated Pavlik." as if Pav and Spinks are on the same level.

Spinks would kick Hopkins ass. Hopkins craftiness and toughness would keep it from being a blow out, but I really fail to see how Hopkins is competitive.

FUCK 175, I don't even think Hopkins beats him P4P.

I consider 175 Spinks better than 160 Hopkins.

Sly is simply delusional when it comes to Hopkins.

 

At least Hopkins might actually take the fight. If Cuntweather was anywhere near Spinks weight class he'd avoid him like the plague.

 

Like I said before, Michael Spinks, helluva fighter. Tough, strong, HOONNGRYY.... competitor!

 

Who said he beats Spinks? Not me.
