Not like you're missing anything. Both Canelo and Cotto are fucking incredibly boring guys.

Neither guy has an interesting personality.

Granted not everybody is going to be Floyd (Not that I care for his antics) but neither Cotto nor Canelo have much charisma IMO. Canelo is a pretty boy, but that's about it, and Cotto is brooding loner type.

Floyd has no charisma. He's just an asshole. He doesn't have much wit, or speaking creativity, and he stutters.

Agreed. His whole image and persona were so fake that it was nauseating. But people did seem to enjoy it.

Prince Naseem wasn't half the fighter Floyd was but he was at least funny and could talk trash.

Someone said that Hamed wasn't half the fighter Floyd was, this is true, but he's twice the man.

Hamed looks obese to the point where he's liable to peel over before he's 50. That fat fuck needs to hit a treadmill and fall in love with salads asap.

Is Alvarez on the verge of superstardom? If he knocks out Cotto after an impressive showing...all the money in the game may revolve around him.

And this is way GBP n team canelo will NOT fight GGG anytime soon....they are NOT dumb...Canelo vs. anyone at 147-154 will bring in MONEY....some will more than fighting GGG..some won't..but there is a guarantee that Canelo won't hear the final bell vs. GGG...so even if Oscar has a judge or two in his pocket..won't help one bit.

If Canelo wins, why fight Triple G???... There is plenty of comp at 147-154 lbs. Too many fights to be made.

Most of 147 and 154 are with PBC.

But Canelo ain't with Arum. So there is a better chance of some fights getting done down the line I would hope. Speculation I know.

PBC is turning out to be really bad for the sport, although it's probably making those guys richer without taking the risks of fighting top opposition.

I think Spence would do what Lara was supposed to do, but was too scared to do it.

IMO Spence would be too skillful for Canelo, but the X-factor would be how well he takes a punch.

Canelo had BETTER Get Spence Out of there Before he Has to Inevitably Catch his Breath, Because Errol WON'T Get Tired...

& if/when Spence Makes it to a Point where Canelo Gets Fatigued, Canelo WON'T Catch his 2nd or 3rd Wind...

I think Spence similar to a few other young fighters coming up...or guys in the 30's who had a late start(GGG,Kova)...get a bit overrated..considering he has fought anyone worth a damn(I know like GGG everyone is afraid of him or don't see teh benefit of fighting him)...I would like to see him against TOP 10-20 Welters before giving him a shot against Canelo at 154....

lol @ martinez being 41 years old.

BTW, i agree with Ortiz. Canello has never really been hit clean by someone that punches hard.

I was half joking to get a rise.

I do think it's too early to discuss Spence's chances against a Canelo-caliber fighter. Does Spence have the necessary skills to beat Canelo though? Yeah, I think he does. Canelo isn't fuckin prime Chavez! He can beaten by a good technician, and Spence is that.

HOWEVER, Spence needs to beat a top guy before I officially would discuss how'd he do versus Canelo, cause as of now we don't know how'd he react to someone as powerful and offensively good as Canelo.

I suspect that Spence is gonna be just plain better than Canelo, but time will tell. Spence's style is more conducive for age/longevity anyway, so he might not peak til his late 20s. Canelo's in his prime now.

Canelo might be the star of the division, but he doesn't rule the division with any dominance. He lost to Lara in the minds of many, and he very well could have lost to Trout had open scoring not fucked over Trout.

Andrade, and Julian Williams are both capable of beating Canelo. POSSIBLY the Charlo's as well, but I don't have much faith in them. Jermall might have a good chance against Canelo though.

Errol Spence vs Julian Williams 2-3 years down the line I could see happening.

Spence will show us his best at 154 I think.
