Olympus Has Fallen was a surprisingly good movie. Much better than that White House Down piece of shit that was out at the same time.

Yeah, I tried to sit through White House Down in it's entirety, just couldn't take it. Jamie Fox was laughable as the President, and Channing Tatum was laughable as a top secret service guy.

Olympus Has Fallen was better by 10 miles. You have a quality actor in Eckhart playing the Pres, and Butler played a WAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY better bad ass than Tatum.

Plus, Olympus Has Fallen was just a lot more violent and convincing. It was an R-rated movie, while White House Down was PG-13. That alone shoulda told you which would be better.

I'm hoping that London Has Fallen hasn't gone soft to PG-13 to try for better numbers.

If it's R-rated again, I'll go see it.

 

It looks promising.

And yes White House Down was TERRIBLE, and the ending was drag. It took forever it felt.

 

Channing Tatum was horrible. He just can't pull off being a save-the-nation bad ass like a Butler, or Bruce Willis can.

And Jamie Fox is just too much of a fuckin buffoon to play the Pres.

I could less about the reviews. It was an entertaining movie. WHD was crap.

 

Haven't seen either one. Clicked on "White House Down" a few times while it was on and just felt no incentive to keep it on.

 

Saw it last week.....I kinda agree with the "evildoers...the terrorist"....you kill my people I kill yours...Good popcorn movie...lots of running and hiding..

 

Saw London Has Fallen a few weeks ago. SHIT! Utter SHIT!

First one was a really enjoyable action movie. This one felt like a complete waste of time.

I heard that from a few people that's why I didn't bother to go and see it. Most people said it was basically " call of duty" the video game. Just explosions and shooting and no real plot. Gerard Butler isn't doing too well at the moment between this and Gods of Egypt

 

X have you seen batman vs superman yet? I'd like to get your take on it because so far people love it or hate it ( most hate it, I loved it)

 

The plan is to see it with the gf, either Thursday night or sometime during the weekend. Soon as I do, of course I'll post my thoughts. Hoping its better than critics have reported.

 

Gerard Butler hasn't been in a good movie, period.

 

Law Abiding Citizen was a good movie. Definitely the best he's been in.

 

300 was a very good film and as x said so was law abiding citizen
