Holm has the stay away and avoid the ground game for 3 rounds and then Rousey is all her's in the championship rounds, where Holm will knock her the fuck out with strikes.

Of course, that's easier said than done.

 

Holm will be lucky if she lasts more than a minute.

As I've said before, women's MMA is still in it's infancy, and Rousey is the Royce Gracie of today. When MMA was in it's infancy, Royce's BJJ was so far superior to anything else anyone brought to the the table, it made him the dominant fighter of the day. That's how it is with Rousey and her Judo. She is so much better than every other female fighter in the sport because her Judo is stronger than anything any of the other female fighters are bringing.

Ok I get how these dumb bitches get taken by Ronda's superior judo but holy shit what's up with not knowing how to defend a damn arm bar? Especially since you know that's all she's got.

 

Tate is a bad bitch. One of my favorites.

 

I think Tate is the 3rd or 4th best 135 pound female in the world. But she was brutalized by Rousey twice and was beat senseless by Zingano.

I am not sure if I'd rank Nunes ahead of her yet but I think Amanda will win if they fight.

By the way, just because the folks on here disagree with your assessment that Meisha would win more fights out of 100 vs Rousey than she would lose, doesn't mean she's underrated. It really points more to you overrating her.

 

I agree with you but far more strongly. Comparing Rousey's run to Royce's is apples to oranges. Most of the girls Ronda has faced over the last 3 years have been well-trained in all aspects of MMA. They know Judo. They know BJJ. That is completely different than guys like Jimmerson or Shamrock in the early days of Royce Gracie.

As you mentioned, Ronda has actually faced girls with far better BJJ. Hell, Alexis Davis is a black belt and had been practicing BJJ for almost 15 years by the time she stepped in the cage with Rousey.

Even more importantly, Gracie's overall MMA game, by today's standards, was weak. The dude never came close to knocking anyone out. Judo is Ronda's core skill but she's beaten girls on the ground, at boxing distance and in the clinch.

 

I've got Zingano at 2 based on her beating both Tate and Nunes head-to-head. I'm OK with either Tate or Nunes being at 3 and 4.

Given Zingano's inactivity, she'll slip soon.

 

Womens MMA is a joke. Seriously. There is a serious lack of skill in the sport in general. Women simply are just not meant to be fighters.
