Id have to disagree. He's beaten nDam and went life and death with andy lee. other than that his resume has nothing. golovkin beat lemeiux who also bashed up ndam, and murray who is better than anyone quillin has fought.

 

Both Canelo and Cotto would beat talent-less, skill-less Quillin. Quillin being bigger wouldn't be enough to compensate for the fact that he can't box a lick and has zero defense.

I see nothing in Canelo that suggests that he wouldn't be.

 

Floyd turned him into a "good boy" and Canelo was just content to stand there and accept being outclassed without ever displaying any real fire or passion.

There's always the POSSIBILITY that he's a front runner. And if he is, Cotto will bring it outta him.

I kinda wish there was more animosity between them. It would make the PR vs Mexico angle better. Tito & DLH didn't like eachother. Tito & Vargas didn't like eachother. Cotto & Margarito didn't like eachother. But these two obviously like eachother. It'll still be an excellent fight though.

There really isn't anything Cotto has to offer Duran. Duran was quicker, stronger, more skilled, better defensively, better chin, miles better stamina, EVERY damn thing.
