    I've got Canelo by UD.

Canelo will fade enough to allow Miguel back in the fight but will have lost too many early rounds to get the decision. Youth and strength wins.

Canelo is 2 inches taller and has a reach advantage. I'm not sold on Cotto overcoming that.

My hunch is that it's razor close, basically even through about 6 rounds. Then at some point I see Canelo really hurting Cotto badly with something that shifts the tide in his favor and puts him in control. Cotto will be on his toes a lot after that, and a have a few more pockets of success, but eventually Canelo catches him again with something big that he doesn't recover from. Ref jumps in to save Cotto in 11.

50/50 fight. I can see it either way but I got Cotto via stoppage late. It's going to be a war.

I must say, it's troubling the different approaches going into this fight. I look at Oscar's FB and he's ALREADY looking forward to the after-fight party. Canelo also all throughout training seemed to be joking around a lot.

It's POSSIBLE that GB and Canelo already think they have this fight won. Cotto, on the other hand, has been ALLLLLLLL business. Doesn't wanna talk to the media much. Doesn't give a shit about that meaningless belt. Just seems like he's focused on the job at hand onn Saturday.

SMALL observations like that give me pause in my Canelo predictions. Once again I'll say, this kid has gotta prove that he's willing to walk through fire to win a fight. Thus far, he hasn't proven that. I'm giving his red head ass the benefit of the doubt in thinking he can do it. HOWEVER, maybe Cotto can in fact bring the front runner outta him...

Yeah Cotto is all business, and at +260 I threw some money on him and really hope he wins. The front runner thing is what I'm hoping for - Ginger gets lit up early and sorta goes into his shell.

I just wish I had faith in Cotto's chin and skin.

But as Neil point out, that scrub Glenn Tapia gave him a shiner in sparring. Canelo could bust him up in a hurry.

Yeah, one jab and his face looks like an exploded watermelon

But I don't care, I like Cotto better and it's a 50-50 fight at +260, and I'm on a roll so WAR COTTO!

Canelo and team have propably been watching Cotto vs Margarito I...and thinking...we can do that...walk Cotto down with body shots..and bust his face up..we can do that...However they probably not seeing or ignoring all the leather Margarito had to eat to get to round 7 when the fight started turning his way...

One of the more split results that's we've seen in a big fight for some time. I'm shocked that..so far...Cotto is the favourite to win according to the forum.

Yeah, more people are picking Cotto on the forum than the boxing media, writers, fighters COMBINED.

Only two people I've heard pick Cotto are Mosley, and Virgil Hunter. Ohhh, and Gabe Rosado.

Once I heard THE Duran pick Canelo, I knew Cotto was fucked. The will of The Duran be done.

Canelo : UD or late KO, Cotto starts up well but fades down the stretch (though its kind of weird saying that Canelo wins a fight based on "stamina")

I expect Canelo to win, but Cotto at +260 is pretty shocking

Canelo should be too strong. Cotto will try to be cagey and outbox him and turn him but unless he hurts him consistently he'll get out punched and worn down. I don't have a lot of faith in Canelo tho and that makes it intriguing.

Not sure what the weigh-ins gonna tell you in this one my brotha. Both cats are gonna look in tip-top shape, cause they are in tip-top shape. I expect both to make 155 with no issue.

In the ring on Sat night, Canelo is gonna outweigh Cotto by a good 10-12 rounds. Roach said he wants it that way so Cotto's quickness can be play an even bigger factor.

    We shall see...

Canelo is going to beat him up. Cotto's boxing will bother him for the first three rounds but once he starts to land Cotto's going to get busted up and assaulted!

The wild card here is Cotto's power. Against delvin and geal he seemed to show a level of punching power that had been missing. If that is real the prediction of Canelo's eventual overwhelming could prove wrong.

Not that Canelo is a hall of famer but he's on a completely different level than Rodriguez and Geale. Cotto's supposed to look like a murderer when in with those guys. Canelo will be the bigger and stronger guy. Cotto MIGHT be able to sting him, but I doubt it.

If I didn't have questions about Canelo's stamina I'd pick him to TKO Cotto late.

It will be interesting to see what happens when/if Cotto lands a full-powered hook on Nelo.

As Ray Mancini said, Canelo SEEMS like he takes a pretty good punch, but we really don't know.
