Prime Tszyu vs young Cotto @ 140

The young Cotto at 140 who beat down Pinto, Abdullaev, and of course, the legendary Randall Bailey... versus prime Tszyu. Who wins?

 

Tszyu. While Cotto was very good @ 140 he was still a bit raw and i think struggling to make weight made him a additionally vulnerable. I think Kostya would have been too much for him.

 

Cotto can't even pull a Vince Phillips since he doesn't have a right hand

 

Tszyu by late TKO or UD

 

Cotto would ko him. He's simply on a different level than Tszyu, Unless he's weight drained.

 

Cotto gets slaughtered. He had no punch resistance at 140. Tszyu would clock him with a right hand and Cotto wouldn't last much longer.

 

That's not ENTIRELY true. Bailey hit him with several flush right hands and Cotto didn't budge. Abdullaev also hit him with some big right hands that he handled well, and Abdullaev could punch.

Those fights happened before 140 took it's toll on Cotto.
