Floyd is the ONLY fighter in history who could dominate Canelo. Ohhhh, him and Hopkins of course. Hagler, Robinson, Leonard, McCallum, Hearns, Toney, and Monzon all go life and death with Canelo. But Floyd and Hopkins shut him out everytime.
Robinson would beat him up, hearns would outbox him clearly, Hagler would outwork him and win a clear decision...but will NOT stop him. Toney's too good for him. leonard would outbox and outwork him. Monzon too big for him. Hopkins would outbox him clearly. McCallum wins close but clear. Not convinced yet that any of those guys can stop him since I haven't seen full grown Canelo hurt as yet....and he has a good defense. the GGG fight may change my mind...we shall see. We need more data. Mayweather would lose to both Leonard and Hearns...but he has certain advantages over each guy. Floyd has better chin and stamina than Hearns....better defense and counterpunching than Leonard. It's about styles. boxing is about styles. Keep reading my posts on the subject...they'll educate you. ;)
Fair enough....clear win...but not a domination. You're notorious for underrating contemporary fighters anyway.
McCallum would give Canelo a horrendous beating. Worse than the beating he gave Watson. Canelo has absolutely N O T H I N G to trouble McCallum with.
Canelo would do much better if he tries to use his size advantage and not box (he had some mild success doing it in a few rounds)
