Now this should be posted to every forum on the Internet and shown on prime-time TV slots with the warning: 'NO SPOILERS TRAILER'

Because as soon as people start to watch it, it'll be too late, their interest will get the better of them,m they'll be hooked and entire movie plot and surprises will be pretty much shown / explained before the movie is even released!!

This only wets our appetite. We want to watch the whole enchilada in the BIGGEST SCREEN available. We still don't know what will happen with Luke Skywalker and there is nothing in the trailers that hints at his fate.

Gee, I miss the 70's style movie advertising: ONE long trailer that didn't reveal much of the plot played ONLY at movie theaters. ONE or the most TWO 30 seconds tv spots that revealed even less; newspaper & magazines ads with ONLY the movie poster. Maybe a couple of photos in the movie review. ONE giant billboard either on the road, buses or buildings. THAT'S IT!

In today's era a film like 'Close Encounters of The Third Kind' either would have bombed for its no show, no tell trailer or if going by today's standards would have shown the whole plot AND the mothership in the trailer. alm:

I watched it last night.
Pre-release screener down in London in a theatre probably 1/8th full.

I won't say anything about it, other than "Kids Will Love This Movie":
