I don't wanna jinx his showcase fight tomorrow, but I've changed my mind on a matchup with Postol. I think Imam will beat Postol, and I think he's the second best junior welter in the world behind Crawford.
One thing is for sure, I look forward to his fights. And I am especially looking forward to the Postol fight. I think his defense might be better than Crawford's. But Crawford seems to be more naturally talented. It is funny the way Showtime always manages to have a "competing product" when it comes to HBO's best fighters. Imam could easily become Showtime's answer to Crawford, just as Stevenson is to Kovalev.
I read an Imam interview where he discussed wanting to avenge his amateur loss to Spence. We're more likely to see Spence-Imam one day than Crawford-Imam. Imam would outclass Broner, that I am sure of.
Apparently Spence holds a victory over Julian Williams in the amateurs as well. Spence-Imam is a future fight I hope we see as well.
I can't favor Imam over Spence at the present moment. His chin is a question mark despite him being talented. I think he has the style to beat Postol though. You come at Postol and he can pick you apart with 1-2's all night. But I think from range Imam will have the edge on him by being faster.

Boring or not, he just KO'd Matty Ice with one punch. Don't you wanna see him knocked off? Both Craw and Imam would be favored to beat him. If Imam does beat Postol, then Imam vs Broner becomes a big unification fight next year. Will About Bullshit fight Imam is the question.

I watched a vid of the cat Imam is fighting tonight. Typical straight forward, aggressive Mexican slugger type. Imam figures to take him out in style.
One reason I like Imam is he does not hold like a bitch inside. He can fight inside and out. First round was superb. Since then, he is really having to work.
