Spence-Garcia, now THAT'S a fuckin mismatch. Judges can't help Garcia get a gift in that one, cause he doesn't see the final bell.

Even when he was on the outside I was alarmed at how easily Grandos hit him.

MIGHT be a bad night. He looked A LOT sharper both offensively and defensively against Walter Castillo.

Man, I think Spence would SODOMIZE both Garcia and Khan't on the same night.

Garcia is just too slow and Spence would stay inside on him and break down his body, while Khan would be at a height and reach DISadvantage and his jab and move style wouldn't work. Plus Spence packs enough power to end him before 6 rounds.

Yeah, Garcia is faarrrrr too slow for Spence. He'd get lit up horribly.

There is a weird fightbeat fetish for unproven guys.

If you've never fought a top opponent and laid out a bunch of tomato cans, you're the fuckin man on fightbeat.

this. I love what I've seen from Spence so far, but the praise he gets on this forum is ridiculous. He'll have to show his worth against decent opponents, cause he only fought thrash so far. The funniest part is that some are trying to pass the clowns he faced as credible opponents

van heerden is a top 20 welter, this last guy is average. not a bum but nothing noteworthy. spence dispatches them as he should. if you think some of the other top 10 welters who wont fight him will beat him then go on record as saying so and we shall see who is right when these fights inevitably occur.

Some people here have already gone on record saying he'll beat Garcia and Khan in the same night. Wait, he would END THEIR CAREERS in the same night.

One of the guys hyping up Spence is the same guy who said Amir Imam was the second best junior welterweight in the world right now. :giggle:

The same two guys who are hyping up fighters who have never fought a round against a decent opponent are the first two guys on fightbeat to call proven world champions "bums."

That's why I laught when guys like Amir Imam come undone on national TV. Guys getting hyped up without facing decent opponents.

    "The Young Master?? "

    The young masturbator more like.

Hopefully we're done with that pretender. No more hype for phonies like that.

    You're overreacting.

NOBODY said Imam looked like the next Floyd, Roy, or Leonard.

But did he look like a future champ? Yes.

It happens. There's always fighters we're gonna be wrong about. Imam wasn't the first and won't be the last. Sometimes though guys do turn out to be as good as you thought.

It's VERY EASY to say Imam looks like a phony now. But he didn't look like one prior to Sat.

Spence I think is gonna be an EXCELLENT fighter. Could I be wrong? Yes. But that's the chance you take.

The comments that crack me up are the ones like (and I don't think this was you but your fellow hype man) Spence ending Garcia and Khan's careers (in the same night no less.)

You figure a prime Lucas Matthysse couldn't end Garcia's career (or even win against him.)

A prime Marcos Maidana couldn't end Khan's career (or even win against him.)

But Errol Spence, who has fought absolutley no one worth mentioning is going end their careers on the same night. Right. If anyone's overreacting to anything it's the clowns that think/talk that type of shit.

On the same night is obvious hyperbole and It was PR who said that.

But would I pick Spence to defeat Garcia and Khan at the present moment? Yes.

Thurman and Brook are legitmate threats to Spence. Khan is too fragile and Garcia is too slow.

    We'll see though...

Garcia's stamina isn't good. In fact, it's suspect as Hell. Matthysse had success against him late. Judah stunned him late and had success. And Peterson beat the Hell outta him late.

I could see Spence's body attack wearing Danny down and forcing a late TKO.
